@GRwemissyou: I've suggested a number of times in the past that they should tweak the hub so that it is lag free, and add another room where you can go and hook up with randoms for PvE or PvP, leaving only your character and NPCs at the hub. That would solve both sides of the problem: they would still have the hub (and one that works), and we'd most likely not have a problem wanting to go there.

I'm with you about the heli. Adding the heli and the store to the bivouac is an illogical workaround. Workarounds are not fixes. They should take their time and try reworking the hub to at least keep with the story line.

    "Measure twice, cut once."

The part about the hub and rooms is a lot like in The division 1, but why the hell not with the state of the game as it is.

@TheReaverSpecOp: Ya, the reason I suggest these things is because we all know they want it there whether people like it or not, so why not make it appealing, useful and optimized at the very least. If I've got to eat their crap, at least put it on a plate, give me a knife and fork, and a pint of beer to wash it down with.

OUCH!!! Jump off a cliff and your chute doesn't/won't deploy?! That's gonna leave a mark!!

Thinking on the Open BETA changes some more; after my earlier post. The incorporation of Bivvie Spawning, and if I remember rightly, being able to access the store and/or gun smith at the Bivvies sounds like a workaround for those of us who REALLY dislike the Social Hub, and it's crowd (not dissing anyone who's into that). I guess we'll all have a better idea about those new features when we get into the Open next week. Doesn't seem like we'll be able to avoid the SH entirely, as we'll still have to go there to get the missions that are hosted there. Maybe a later DLC/patch will move some of that over to the Bivvies, or elsewhere in some fashion too. Anyway; if that's what Ubi intended with the changes; PROPS to them for the attempt---and the implementation if it does turn out to be an acceptable/better alternative to the SH.

Ubi could put up Customer Service Kiosks all over Auroa for our shopping convenience! Guns, gear, threads, "specialty items" (NO! Not that kind!), and missions. After a couple of purchases; the video display above each CSK would display targeted advertising based on our previous purchases [and sell all our information to interested third parties! ]. Or not.....................

    Not for you?

Do not like it, do not get it, it is that simple. They making the game for more than hardcore gamers, you do not like it, so boycott thegame. You want to force the company to go out of business, grow up snowflake, it is not going to happen.

I love that it is easy to pick up and play, you did not have to play the first one, but it helps. I love the fact we can hide the bodies now. I love the fact the fact not all attachments fit all weapons. The game is made for the average player, will we all get what we all want, no, but it could have been worse.

Helpful criticism... No wait... Oh my goodness, you have converted me! Praise be! I shall preorder immediately.

Thoroughly fed up of these kinds of posts. If you like the game, say why, be convincing, instead of telling everyone else to grow up. Be the example.

I agree to that the they could have used other options for the hub so that it makes more sense, but thx to the killer swarm drones i have a hard time trying to go around that

I keep seeing comments that the animations are too fast. Where is that coming from?

As I mentioned earlier in this thread, swapping weapons quickly is something well trained professionals can do... it's actually amazing how fast they can be... (https://youtu.be/FJVh3N7vGn8)

Having said that, I think the whole animation speed for swapping weapons (and reloading) are missed opportunities to have offered those as skills. It would be cool to work on your weapon swap and reload speed as part of the skill tree rather than some of the dumb skill perks and buffs we have as it is. It would be badass to see this improve over time.

Also, I believe that there just wasn't a sense of urgency in the stance changes, and now they are much more appropriate for someone who might need to get down when taking fire, or get up and move if artillery is incoming.

It's highlighting that anything changed will never make everyone happy. I for one think the improvements look much better. People should try running full speed at a car and stop to open the door. Let's see if they take an extra step or two before getting to that door handle. I bet they won't. It'll be precise.

Also some people should try to lie prone and get up as fast as they can. It'll be the same thing and these are just normal people. A trained pro can do this way faster.
