There's no doubt that I think the commercial has talent, not from Li' Wayne, but for the Drunk History style lip syncing. However, this commercial must have been expensive and I fear that the money is being poorly managed for this type of marketing for casual gamers rather than using it to address the most complained about features in the game.

2.) They have never played in public matchmaking.

It's a video game guys. It's not real life. And if you can't find humor in a live-action trailer featuring a washed-up rapper ten years past his prime playing a video game you're looking forward to, all while he is "Leeeeeeeroy Jenkinsss!"-ing his teammates into sticky situations, then you *probably* were one of the gamers complaining about Nomad's constant use of "S#!?balls!" in Wildlands.

Go fetch your funny bones guys. Just enjoy some lighthearted jokes for once.
Lil Wayne is hardly washed up or ten years past his prime. He released an album last year and just released a record with his original crew. That aside what you find hilarious others may find dull and that's not to say that we don't have a sense of humor. I find Drunk History quite entertaining but this isn't even in the same category. I can see why we have differing opinions on Breakpoint as well.

Even if it was actually Lil Wayne I think I'd pass. If this game was remotely realistic they probably could have made a video with ex spec ops guys playing, it would have been a much better video, but it wouldn't have hyped up the kids as much I guess.
From my experience in the team room and from videos of spec ops guys from other branches playing video games on YouTube, I think Lil'Wayne and his friends offers a more serious gaming experience than spec ops guys do.

Real operators aren't trying to live out a spec ops fantasy, they are trying to have fun, and generally enjoy the fantasy elements of video games.

It's all up to the player I guess, I played with a lot of ex military guys when I was a part of TAW platoon on ArmA 2. They didn't play like idiots.

Yeah, who can't relate to that ad. But is it actually going to draw anyone in?

And who's still playing Wildlands today?... hard-core enthusiasts, Milsim guys, and guys like FIST. And who was spending $10-20 on packs for a MK18 or a Crye shirt with rolled-sleeves... was it Lil'Wayne types or hard-core enthusiasts? If Ubisoft wants to attract more main-stream gamers, that's fine, but if they don't cater to their hardcore fans, there will be no one left playing the game after the first few months.

Sorry but this version of yours suck. The marketing did good with showing some difference. Sometimes it’s good to have a laugh or two. I don’t always like ad that just show the core of the company. This time they showed from a consumer side some of us have experience. Lighten up lol

There is nothing like promoting your game using some gangsta rapper who barely can say understandable sentence in his native language promotes, gun violence, thug life, drugs and refers to females as hoes *****es all the time
