Didn't cancel, I'd be lying if I said I won't pick it up at some point, but I definitely put off and postponed the pre-order. Am glad I did now - apart from a long list of minor stuff/glitches there's just too many usability issues, from the menu to the UI, there's a tonne of things that are either confusing or poorly designed.

Some of us have been playing ghost recon since the very first ghost recon game. So we want the next one to be better. The money we have spent on ubisoft games in the past contributed to the production of Breakpoint. We are consumers and fans and want our money to be put to good use. This game was not at all what many of us wanted so we are voicing our concerns in hopes that Ubisoft, a company that has a lot of talent and capability will make changes or a better ghost recon game in the future. So no we’re not going to move on if we hate it.

Interesting. I'm old enough to remember the first few Ghost Recon Games and... Wildlands doesn't even come close to what I would want for this in recent times. I bought the Division when it launched for... now everybody can start laughing... the Single-Player experience. I played with randoms a few times, especially to beat that crazy though APC vehicle boss =) and met a couple nice ppl along the way - but it didn't really took off for me. The bullet sponge enemies destroyed the perfect immersion I had throughout the story. And yeah, looter shooter or online stuff isn't really my thing. If that makes me anachronistic or odd - well, so be it.

So - Breakpoint. I also picked up Wildlands on steam with a hvy discount and dabbled around a bit but yeah, now it collects virtual dust. It just doesn't even compare - it's like day and night. I followed the development of Breakpoint and was around for more than just the Closed Beta and I gotta say, this game really pushed forward. Sure the CB had some issues, but nothing that couldn't be fixed in the forseeable future. Of course - if the game heads into a direction that veterans like you, Mwhita89, don't like then yeah, thats a problem. Because so late into development you rarely see a dev changing core components.

Lastly I wanna express how much opposed I was to buying "another Division" - and yeah I see the parallels here. But this new crazy open game that looks like a predator-influenced Division, plays like an evolved Division at it's best and even manages (so far) to evade the silly "hit me with a thousand bullets" enemy npcs.... idk, this game just captured me. I felt like in a Ghost Recon again. Is this entirely off? Sure the NPC Teammates are gone, but FINALLY I'm alone. Finally I can do my lone wolf thing without super stupid NPCS. So idk - Breakpoint checked a lot of boxes for me and i'm eagerly awaiting the launch ^-^
I'm sorry you had such a ****ty time. Honestly.

I got to try the beta before i pre-ordered and i hated the beta. after some back and fourth on if i wanted to buy it, i eventually said whatever and bought the ultimate edition. I have some faith that this might turn out better than expected.

In fact when I read comments complaining that Breakpoint is just like Division .. I bought division too...

I'm pretty sure Ubisoft isn't going to use this thread to gauge player interest in their game when their sales department has all the numbers for canceled pre-orders and such. As for me, I'll likely pick this game up next month. There are things in it I don't care for or otherwise actively dislike, but there is enough good content that I see myself putting many hours into the final product. There just isn't a decent enough alternative out there to scratch the same gaming itch.

Wow that’s about 8 of you that have cancelled so far then.
I tell you what....that must of upset Ubisoft. They’ll be having emergency meetings today and there will be talks of postponing the launch at this rate.
    Alarming

    Hehehe ;D Yeah, totally.

Oh - another thing: Pre-Orders are lame guys. If you REALLY need those pre-order goodies, buy a day before or so - it's not that these digital licences are limited or something

Cancelled my pre order of the digital copy as I'm a bit concerned I won't like the full game. Gonna get the game on disc instead so I can trade it later if I don't enjoy it.

Awwww. Well bye y'all. It'll be sad to see Ubisoft go bankrupt because 20 people decided to cancel their preorders. Smh.

Seriously though, some of the excuses here are ridiculous as hell. Claiming that it's nothing like wildlands being one of the biggest one's. Which in itself was a far departure from previous games. I mean you literally leveled up your weapons dmg and had a drone that sprayed magical fairy dust to revive fallen comrades. And yet you sit here loosing your minds over crap like tiered loot? (Which has NO effect on dmg whatsoever no matter what the lvl). Seriously... Get over yourselves. You don't like the game, fine. Just say that. Just don't come here with hypocritical bs about the departure from wildlands.

Oh and I'll be definitely playing the crap outta this because even though this and the previous game are just ghost recon in name.... They've been fun as hell. Only thing that really matters to me. Even with some of the glaring issues i have with a few of the design choices
