PS4 Controller Freezing Game | Forums

So I was playing last year with a Steam Controller and the game (GRW) played with no problems. After playing the beta for Breakpoint I decided to jump back in with my PS4 controller because it handles better for me. I played Breakpoint with no issues on the PS4 controller. Now every time I plug the controller in, the game will not respond. When I unplug it, it resumes. I have contacted support and they have not had the answers for me. It seems that this is an issue and the other thread that mentioned this was in 2017. I have done all of the things they required and the results are the same. Someone, please give me a fix for this.

doesnt matter if i use the ds4 v1 of v2 or if i try to work around it with DS4Windows, it still bugs out and if I disconnected the device it unfreezes itself. So its very easy to reproduce this.

I have exactly the same problem but is compounded if I go afk, the whole game locks and need to Alt +F4 to quit. Even then the sound will reside in memory and perpetually play, until I can either force
close Uplay or reboot.
Saying that, the freeze will also occur whilst playing too and I've noticed various times the game attempting to freeze only to recover during active gameplay. Fortunately GR:B is due out soon and GR:W will be ditched due to how buggy it is. Be nice to see a resolution though.

Are you planning on reporting this issue or something because my ticket: 09804272 is trying to make me go through a ton of hoops while DS4Windows latest update fixed the problem but if I disconnect the service, the built in controller from ubisoft still freezes over and when you unplug, its stop, unplug, play, stop, unplug, repeat... This aint just my OS that's been bugging...
