DT finally introduces a first person mode to Assassin's Creed Odyssey.
FInally we can walk around as if we are really there.
The problem is that Ubisoft uses an camera eye height that is an average of all the characters.
If you use Alexios or Cassandra the camera appears to be in the middle of their chest which makes you look like a midget when walking around ancient Greece.
Please fix it Ubisoft, we want to feel like we are really there walking around and not a midget.
Yes, I agree. I too prefer 1st person mode, and the camera currently is positioned at chest height and looks a little odd. The camera needs to be raised to the character's head/eye height. When you switch the camera to 1st person, as the camera repositions to the character you can see it entering the character at chest height.

Any news on this? It's weird walking around in Discovery mode first person at a midget's height.
Hi, I recently explored ac odyssey's discovery tours. I loved it. Altough I came across an annoying problem. There is this one character I tried, the Greek Tough Guy, that should be taller than a normal male character (like Alexios) or npc. Instead he is the smallest character (besides children) in the game. Please fix this Ubisoft.
I’m not the only one with this issue.
Here are other posts about the same issue:

I can’t post a video because I’m on a tablet at the moment.
Just run Discovery tour and hit the R2 button and you will realise that your eye height is that of a small child.
We’ve mentioned this before.

It’s so immersion breaking to walk around Ancient Greece Discovery mode with the camera at the eye height of a small child.
