A change of out of stamina state
I think I had a similar idea, which I would like to share again (now that pk is more or less fine):
Change the way how stamina works, in the following way:
1. Globally buff everyone's stamina by 30-50%. It would make offense far more efficent (if needed, also buff stamina damage on some characters).
2. Stamina regeneration is slowed down in out of stamina if you are passive. Getting damage in or parrying would give back some stamina.
2. Out of stamina state should work like this:
a. The hero who lost his or her stamina gets the gray vision and the heavy breathing, along with different idle stances.
b. Rolling and sprinting is disabled, unless the hero has Iron Lungs.
c. Being parried or thrown will unbalance the hero.
d. Damage is reduced by 50%. However, the full moveset with normal speed, all the effects, softfeints and hardfeints remains available.
This way, exhausted heroes will get a punish by being sent to a state where attacking is less rewarding and there are far more danger involved, however, you would still be encouraged to attack or at least go for counters in order to escape out of stamina state quicker. The fights would not stop and become some one sided beatdowns for short whiles, the fight would continue with the exhausted opponent having options to still attack if they want to (with less reward and more risk).
