The Division 2 & Splinter Cell crossover
Hey there guys.
I got into creative mode and started thinking this through and at one point I decided to write it whole down.
I'm not english native so bear with me on any kind of mistakes as I'm certain there's plenty.
I thought it would be cool introduction of Splinter Cell cameo into Division universe, even if the whole idea is just mere beginning of the crossover.
Anyway... I wonder what you guys think of this.

I was swooping the alley next to the New York Ave. NW looking for signs of Black Tusk activity when my watch activated.
'Classified protocol communications detected. Decryption... Failed.' ISAC said into implant in my ear.
Decryption of Black Tusk operations was always a nuisance. They used military grade encryption that even ISAC with full hardware backup in White House had hard time to decypher.
I hide myself between a car that crashed to the tree and bunch of bags of trash, checking for any treaths that could come from the way I was looking.
I sat two long minutes in silence. It shouldn't be that bad not hearing anything in even few blocks away, but when it comes to Black Tusk and complete silence I knew this were bad. I just needed confirmation how bad.
'Agent? We have a problem. Big. Problem.' Many Ortega, our local coordinator spoke up on closed channel 'We've picked up top secret message from one of agencies that cooperate with us.'
That explained a bit of the situation. But I still wasn't exactly sure if I should relax about it. It wasn't new for BT to try set us up in situations where we took in agents of allied agencies who in fact were BT saboteurs.
I relocated from my current cover to the oposite, switching from my assault rifle to dmr in the process and checked the area ahead of me. I utilized Pulse. One of technologies Division provided us with. It created a pulse of multiple kinds of waves to pick up threats in the vacinity. It was nice feature. It helped me to pick up any possibly useful leftovers that survivors of DC left on the streets or buildings next to them, but most importantly it helped me to pick up any hostiles in the area that could be threat for me.
Maybe except guys who seem to use our technology, but weren't part of the Division.
We gave them callsign Hunters, because they seemed to target Division agents specifically.
Those guys were even bigger mistery to us than Black Tusk at the beginning of their take over of DC, couple months ago. And our intel on them didn't expand at all ever since first raport on them.
'Protocol signatures confirmed. NSA codes confirmed.' ISAC said to my ear.
NSA? How the hell they're still work ever since Green Poison struck almost whole East Coast?
Rumors say NSA has provided us with plenty of tech we've got now, but I think it's either exaggeration or a complete lie. If they were we would hear from them since first day after all.
'Decrypting local communication network. Twenty percent.' ISAC calmly said, as always.
I relocated myself into the building that had it's doors open long before DC quarantine. Streets felt safe as long as ISAC didn't spoke up. Which while proved it's effectiveness in predicting threats in area, also nullified my instincts that I've gained prior even joining the ranks of the task force that was Division.
I've been through basic military training and proved that I have natural talent for weaponry, handling almost each kind of them with same efficiency that exeeded even basic soliders in each branch. But my strategic mind lacked a lot, due lack of experience. I graduated in Psychology in University of Minnesota so I by knowledge and instinct could interact with people quite easily and with maximum efficiency expected from me as the Division agent, despite being rather not into being among people and talking with them.
I gained top rank of Gamma classification in SHD ranks. Gamma stood for most soldier like people, but I stood above them thanks to understanding people better even by just looking at them. I knew that whole Gamma group in SHD was unnoficially "Grunt Company", but I felt like I didn't exaclty match to them, nor to Delta. Group that handled civilians rather than engagements.
I cleared my head of all those thoughts. This was cripling my awareness. I couldn't allow this, even if the area was clear. It was thanks to my constant being on edge when on enemy territory that I was still alive ever since reaching DC.
'Hey what's the hold up?' I heard from behind the corner 'You keep staring into your TacSat for minutes now, mate.'
I didn't risk to peak, but I suspected they're either True Sons or Black Tusk. Giving the small acitivty of Ture Sons I sided with Black Tusk.
'I'm picking up some incoming message, but it's encrypted.' other voice said
'The Division?' previous voice said, while finally emerging from behind the corner. Black Tusk it was.
'No. It is similar, but I can't decypher it. It still has hidden US goverment signatures in it though.' BT Engineer said
I decided to not give them further chance after confirming it was the two plus tracked drone behind them. Two clean headshots silenced them both.
That's about their SpecOps training I suposse. Drone stopped without driver and automatically aimed at me when I stepped out. But as always it didn't shoot. It didn't receive order to become agressive. I collected few magazines from two dead BT troopers and rolled whole belt of 7.62 ammo from drone before taking it's batteries as well.
I kneeled above the Engineer and touched my wristwatch. High-tier technology that SHD provided to every Agent in the field. Even before we were even called. I pressed few buttons that only my eyes could see and it started synchronizing data.
'Decryption of unknown network. Ninety percent.' ISAC spoke again to my ear.
I left bodies on the pathwalk as they dropped and moved to closest building, keeping myself hidden from view, but close to BT engineer's TacSat.
'Decryption complete. Signature confirmed. Fourth Echelon security protocols confirmed...' ISAC said and gone silent.
My whole SHD tech stopped working. What the hell is Fourth Echelon? I pulled out the batteries from my watch and put them back in, waiting for it to reboot I started heading back to the White House.
Something was very, very wrong.
I was one block from reaching the WH safe area when ISAC finally rebooted. About time.
But I did expect it to not speak up of becoming online rather than hear unknown voice.
'...is place is complete guerilla warzone.' Someone said with calm voice. Male, certainly after military training, but that's all I could tell.
'I believe your best bet is to try contacting with local Special Forces, the Division.' another voice said, female.
'I've reached the White House already, but their guards look rather trigger happy.' male replied 'I'm setting up the beacon on the Shade Network frequency for their operatives to find me.'
'Sam...?'
'It's the best bet. I would not shot our guys protecting the White House even when last President proved to be working with the terrorist group.' man said and few second after that my wrist watch picked up signature that said 'Agent requesting back up'.
It was obvious he wasn't part of SHD, but I decided to take a risk and approach him openly.
My ISAC watch pointed his exact position. He was behind me, near the crossing of New York Ave NW and 17th St NW. He was literally sitting next to the barricade JTF setup around White House.
I moved from my location to proximity of the beacon stranger set. I wasn't taking any chances and I was checking even 4th floor windows, despite being ground level.
As I passed the entrance to Attorney & Realtor when my watch vibrated and activated my synced lenses pointing me towards the entrance of the said building.
I approached it carefully, checking every angle possible and watching the feed ISAC provided me. I activated Pulse to pick up any hidden threats but nothing shown on the radar.
'Extremis malis.' male voice from comms said right behind me.
I tensed, but I knew if I make sudden move now I most likely will have another hole in head to breathe. I dropped my rifle and raised my hands above my head.
He said the first part of SHD motto though. Something not even all Division agent remembered. I did, because I understood the purpose of it.
Extreme situations require extreme solutions.
I peaked over my shoulder, seeing in corner of my eye end of the barrel and subtle glint of 3 google lenses. They're in sync with SHD tech, otherwise they'd not shine at all for sure. It meant only one thing.
' Extrema remedia.' I said lowering my hands and slowly turning to the man.
It was the right call. He lowered his weapon and approached me. Carefully though. A professional through and through.
'I need to talk with your commanding officer, agent.' he said once being withing arms reach 'I'm Sam Fisher, NSA field director and I need your help.'
