I'm one of the few people with very few technical issues - maybe I missed some lootboxes and such, as I don't care about them I don't know... (some major drops in framerate on some tracks, been there seen that so...)
The stupidity of making faults irrelevant and forcing us to grind is beyond belief though and it's the reason I never even unlocked hard tracks...
So; will you remove the stupid XP grinding (level-locking I guess the term is), do you really not realize how level-locking the tutorial is an idiotic idea....? (I mean, REALLY?)
I uninstalled the game 3-4 months ago and the reason I wonder about you changing the progression system is that I want to know if I'll ever install it again...and even think about buying your next iteration...
Hi Lionden, mate, I've noticed you're a bit of a fanbooi! around this here place...so, I disagree with whatever you want to say.... :P
They're obviously never going to. All they had to do was lower the level limits, and then make sure whatever needs to be unlocked as a result of the change does actually unlock for those between the old level and the revised lower level.
That said, why not just play the game? I'm at a high level and I've gained about 25 levels in the last couple of days, with less than 5 hours played, some of which was finding squirrels and wrapping up some Achievements, so more like 4 hours of play time which gives XP. Buy the helium and donkey if you haven't already, do some easy Contracts, do some fun Contracts, do some challenging ones if you feel up it, there are over 400 to choose from. Or play some MP, either way you'll be gaining a level every 10 minutes.
They shouldn't have gated levels by XP, they didn't even need XP at all, and they should have made changes after launch feedback. Even so, it's really not that big a deal. You can probably unlock the next group of tracks in an hour or so, and you might even have fun while just playing the game.
Never understood "the grind" when it takes a day or two of playing to open up all the tracks. The way I see it: If you only want to play extremes and ninjas - you are good enough to grind the game's XP in a day to a week of casual gameplay. If you aren't able to consistently pass extremes, then the grind is good to hone your skills and allow you to build skill.
It seems they did not.Originally Posted by calculusman1084 Go to original post

I am honestly happy you and those that like the game likes the game...but I have to ask; does it feel like Fusion/Evolution? (I'm not talking about potential issues upon release, I'm asking about if you actually think of this as a similar game, do you think this has the same progression system as the previous, would you've gotten into the game if it had always had thew progression system of Rising....?)
