AMD Athlon II X4 here. So its SSE 4.2 problem again. I mean this problem occured more then several times and here we go again. Why dont just include old tech support when rolling a new patch especially if part of FH playerbase obviosly has older cpus.

I don't understand why they still release updates without checking it. I mean, they know very well that people with Dual core CPU always runs into startup issues after patches. So, why not checking first?
    This is getting really annoying.

    It's been 6 hours with no follow-up.

    Thanks for your hard work!
Just wanted to say that same problem occured in Destiny 2(on release) and Black Ops 4 during mid season patch. Problem relates to SSE 4.2 tech support which is absent for older cpus like AMD Athlon or Phenom. It took around a month for Destiny 2 devs to roll a patch for this and 2+ weeks for Black Ops. I`m saying this so you wouldn`t raise your hopes to high for a "hotfix". And because it affects only a small portion of playerbase - its never a top priority. It is sad though its not the first time for this problem to appear.

Hello everyone, I'm sorry to hear that so many of you have been affected by crashes following the latest update to For Honor.

As previously advised, the For Honor team have been made aware of these crash issues, and are currently looking into them. If you all wouldn't mind doing so, providing us with the basic details of your system configuration would be very helpful:

    CPU:

    GPU:

    RAM:

Thank you all for your patience so far, and we hope to provide updates via these forums soon.

My specs are well above the minimum, but it still crashes. It's more than likely SSE4.2 again.

CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T BE
    GPU: GTX 970 4GB GDDR5
    RAM: 12GB DDR3

The minimum cpu requirements indicate that a Phenom II x4 955. With these specs I can run For Honor on maximum graphics settings(except supersampling) at 1080p getting around 80fps..

    CPU: Dual core E57003GHz
    GPU: GeForce GT 1030 4GB DDR4
    Ram: 8GB DD3

and in my Opinion - the "For Honor team" probably already knows what the issue is, but sadly will stretch it to the next maintenance as usual, cause its to much of a hassle to help out the minority of their paying costumers to schedule a quick emergency maintenance ...

    Back to Overwatch I guess..
