Hey guys,
i upgraded my system a few days ago and i canīt run trials anymore.
Got the same bug like other people: Crash to desktop
I donīt think that my CPU or Mainboard is the problem but i think the graphic card is it.
Before i was running Trials Rising with a Radeon VII and it works without a problem.
But with the new NVidia card (RTX 2080 TI) it crashes every time i start it.
A friend has the same problem with his 1050(ti?)
When he has his Vega 56 GPU the game worked...
My DXDiag output has over 90000 chars so i used pastebin instead:

I tried 4 other nvidia drivers -nothing worked for me.
Cause my new system is watercooled i canīt change the gpu on the fly tho.
PS:English is not my nature language but i hope that you can understand me. ^^
I posted the problem going through support atm, all of the things they had me tried have failed sadly. I also have Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080, but I don't have another card to swap it out and test with.
I suggest you go through the support ticket, I don't see anyone responding to issues here other than other players.
Had the same problem, but was able to solve it by starting the game without internet connection. Game startet up normally. When the Splash Screen appeared I activated internet connection again and pressed space-button to connect to Ubisoft servers. Connection was successfully established (several try's) and I also got acces to the DLC. Game starts without problems since this workaround.
