This change is hilarious. Increase the damage of lights that almost never hit (on PC), but leave their range to be absolute garbage. You can just backwalk away from them. Also, I love how his side lights got sped up to 500ms, but he still has the 900ms chain lights in his kit.

I play shinobi aggressively(not spamming his dodge kick since it's sucks and i might consider turtling with him when i play the game again when they release the wu lin because everyone say he is better at turtling), but yeah his opener is most likely light attack or zone which is kinda useless and still he deserve to get nerf but not PK treatment and he might get buffed/remaked in two years?(judging from PK), and he is still annoying even now mostly because almost no shinobi gonna go close and personal(only some who is really good and know the opponent kit, not saying i am master at shinobi since i only use shinobi for taking down people with HA and people who camp on ladder),and most shinobi is using hit and run tactic which is hard to catch if you use characters like shugoki(basically everyone with no dash heavy), and it is nice to see PK get buffed but i think dev should make all heroes become viable first before buffing other and fix some heroes such as raider and hito is the top priority unless they plan on making everyone the same as them(like assassin will have absurd damage to make sure that they can keep up with hyper armor which i don't think will happen), even though i think raider 333ms and hitokiri tank/trade damage way better than anyone else with HA is not intended?(let just say when i use hito and raider, i won more matches than when i use kensei and shugoki which is kinda funny considering i just spam with them but still playing raider takes more skill than playing hito for me).

Seriously at least players actually playing Conqueror no what happened, i almost changed factions and kicked myself for purchasing the expansion after really giving the hero a good chance, it fit my play style.
So this is a HUGE boost for everyone not thinking it is... and needed.

What is interesting is that it can be combined with Conscript's Attrition - thanks to that move you can use a few light attacks and end it with a heavy one. After that, you can use Shield Bash and start everything all over again.

Shinobi is a joke, even orochi(he has the undodgeable if he fight against shinobi) is more viable than him especially when the player skill is same and shinobi is too risky for going to double dodge kick cause he will most likely got light attacked or gbed while trying accessing to it and it is funny that you say shinobi is a beast(show me that you can get deflect everytime they attack and not getting light/gbed).

Sorry Arch, I meant enchanced lights, not superior lights indeed. They would not threaten with a charged heavy midchain, but they would keep withering down the opponent's hp, and placing heavies in between, as well as using the superior block mixup would make counters dangerous.
I always thought conq was meant to be a harasser (because the hardhitter part is bs), who keeps savagely beating opponents with the flail and pushes people with his shield, before retreating behind his cover. The defense part works well (too well), the offense part is nonexistent.
