Same here.
Have an old Intel Quatro and now after the update the game won't launch. Couldn't get the test server with Ember Rise to launch last week either. Pretty sure it's a case of Ember Rise now using an SSE4.1+ instruction set that our processors don't support.
I appreciate that these are ancient processors and should be upgraded, but up until last week my pc with this old Quatro could run the game on medium at a steady 60fps no problem. Having an update come out that essentially makes my machine unable to play the game after 400+ hours of playing with no problems sure sucks, please offer a workaround asap. It's ridiculous not to check backwards compatibility is maintained when a new update comes out.
So now either Ubisoft has to offer a workaround or I need a new motherboard + CPU just because Ubi decided not to bother with proper compatibility in their patches...
THANKS UBI, VERY COOL
Totally agree with that, they can't make us play the ****in game for 500+ hours and then one day just wake up and say "oops we dont support you anymore" ..
The really big problem for ubisoft is ubisoft itself, THEY DONT GIVE A SINGLE **** ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS!
i'm nevere ever gonna buy a ubisoft game anymore..screw this ****!
