Allright, now in serious.
As the title says, after the update for Siege the game won't launch for me anymore, ran totally fine before. To be precise, the game task starts up after battle-eye launches normaly and then the task immediately ends itself and throws me back into the Uplay launcher. No error code or anything. Just nothingness.
I already did all the basic troubleshooting. Restarting the computer, un-/reinstalling the game, running it as admin, updating drivers etc. Nothing helped, always the same result.

My guess is that its the usual problem related to processors that don't support SSE 4.whatever. As that has been a problem for me a few times in the past, not only with Siege, but For Honor as well.

As per standard procedure my System-specs:

Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Intel Core 2-Quad Q8200 @2.33 GHz
8 GB DDR2 RAM
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB

MSinfo and dxdiag files are uploaded in a support ticket. Number 09731482

I have the same problem. Using an Intel Xeon E5450 (which falls into the same category as your CPU- doesn't support this SSE function). Wouldn't be surprised if that's the problem, For Honor had an issue with these CPUs a few months ago too. Hopefully it's something else though because it took the FH devs more than a month to fix it.

Glad to know it's not just me, I've been having the same problem since this morning after the update went live. I've done the same possible solutions, but nothing has worked. I've launched other games through uplay such as For Honor and Watch Dogs, they both started perfectly fine, so I don't think it's a problem with Uplay itself, and more oriented to Rainbow Six. Hopefully somebody comes by with a solution or Ubisoft releases a patch, SOMETHING to get us in. Was really looking forward to the update, too.

I'm having the same problem, but sometimes I can launch it and then when I start the game I can run 10 feet and it will crash.

I'm having the same problem. The game exe crash after the battle eye launcher poup up...
