When you guys make TANKS, make TANKY TANKS, no hybrids please

I loved the Black Prior.... Feels, acts, moves, and plays.... LIKE A TANK.

So far the Hitokir and the Hulda play like hybrids.
Hito is far to dynamic to be a tank, with kicks and switchups that force him to be far to agile to be a tank.
And the new hero Hulda…. lets face it... shes a vanguard assassin hybrid just like the Centurion. There literally is NOTHING about that hero that says tank.. even the armor you guys display on the past two heros ISNT TANKY.
Its embarrassing. We might as well put female characters in lingerie out there and call them tanks too... go Korean RPG in this place....

Stop making really fantastic supernatural decisions about your designs, and stick to what made this game AMAZING when you brought it out... REALISM in combat and REALISM in design and feel.

And please, please.... PLEASE.... start storyboarding and designing your heros around the actual way their classified... dont just label em and make whatever you want.

I agree on heavy classes not being tanks. They're basically vanguards and refuse to change that back for some reason. I thought Bulk Up and Tough as Nails would've helped with Warlord and JJ, but you can't stack those anymore. They're completely against tanks. So when I was grinding to get both of those characters up, spent hard earned Steel to upgrade my gear to get Bulk Up, I realize that it was all for NOTHING. They even took down Shugoki's health during the rework and on the latest patch notes, it even said he gets less health from Demon's Embrace. And I feel like if they're taking health away from literally everything, then take away the MAX HP cap. You'd be able to have way more health but they just won't allow it.

In my opinion, it'd be fair. Character's feats are unique or only 1, 2, or 3 people have it. And it is very costly to have Bulk Up as a gear perk. Either this, or allow the combination of ANY 3 perks. I spent too much steel on Shugoki to get Critical Stance, Bulk Up, and Bastion and try to get all those together. But while I have Bulk Up and Critical Stance, I only got my Bastion to 580 out of 600 and if I try to change anything, I'll have to do without Bulk Up or Critical Stance. How else am I suppose to make him a tank?

    you're running on outdated information.

Bulk Up and Tough as Nails do stack with each other. I run it on BP myself btw.
For Shugoki Last Stance, Bastion and Vengeful Barrier is the better way to go. You're missing out of the one of the most powerful if not the best perk in the game.
It's a bummer that Last Stance is purple tier perk but this is how it is. Don't use the feat Hard to Kill on this build as it goes basically goes entirely to waste and does not stack neither with bastion nor Last Stance (https://www.reddit.com/r/Competitive...changes_after/).

If you usually go for HtK you can make your shugo tanky with Bulk Up, Vengeful Barrier and maybe Remedy for some more hp on hero kill or bastion to have some reduction before activating hard to kill. However you have to be aware that this shugo only gets more tanky the moment he receives his tier 3 feat. So ok for breach, not very adviceable for dominion.

Shugo's health overall is fine imo. He is a meaty healer which effectively enlargens his health pool by a lot. The devs did right adjusting things to it. But to be honest a LB with rightous deflection, Second Wind AND perks like bulk up, bastion and vengeful barrier is far more tankier than a shugoki could be and is not even close to a limited kit like shugo while doing so.

I agree, what made this game interesting was the Realism in both the style and the combat; yet it seems that the Dev team keeps shifting more and more towards fantasy in both of those areas.

Speaking of which, this is the same reason why I hate the Hyper Armor on some heroes and also Revenge Mode; they should focus on better mechanics instead of gimmicky "god-mode" effects and one-click powered-up attacks.

The way that For Honor was with the original cast was more fun than the current version because it felt more authentic. Currently, it feels more and more like a spam fest where heroes like the Hitokiri don't even have to block because they can just spam Hyper Armor attacks.
