There were presets at the top - minimal, no HUD, etc which you can use and if need be revert back to your custom settings by choosing Custom. I assume however you may be talking about creating different custom HUDs to choose from quickly - could be nice for when switching between PvE and PvP.

That's what i meant, fully customizable extra preset would be nice, the are so many different options.
As you said pve/pvp switching is very good example of this.

Yeah the prone movement is the most necessary change needed in this game for sure. I like the idea of the scuba gear, especially with the abundance of other islands. They could tweak it on some islands are protected by drones that will detect boat noise so you would need to get to a certain spot and have to sneak in etc.

It’s reasonable I think, not asking for anything major, really just more options to customise the experience to your own preference, especially for those desiring a more hardcore experience.

    1) Option to turn off Health Regen

    2) Option to tweak abundance of resources (bandages/syringes, ammo etc) found in the game world. To make exploring and scavenging worthwhile. And to put a greater emphasis on managing your resources!

    3) stamina can be permanently capped until you find water etc.

    4) Movement whilst Prone. To go back to how it was in Wildlands. The ability to crucially make minor positional adjustments (shuffling back, or left or right whilst facing same direction) was hugely useful!

    I made a vid to show what I mean — https://youtu.be/__3vOQzjjrU

Breakpoint has you move your whole body! And if you only want to shuffle to your right a couple of inches to get a clearer line of sight, Breakpoint makes this needlessly clumsy and awkward.

    5) bring back the HUD options from Wildlands. Being able to turn off the Mini Map, or enemy clouds etc.

    6) Ability to carry 1 primary weapon or only 1 sidearm. So I guess the option to deselect or empty those slots in the menu.

    7) Realistic reloads.

    8) Ability to holster your weapons

    9) Scuba gear? To stay under water for longer?
But have this be an actual piece of gear that visible on your character.
Very reasonable. I know many of these have been passed on already.

As Bone says below, I think a mag count system would be preferable.

I don't want to say never, because their may be a situation that requires it, but by and large ditching a partial mag and throwing away ammo, just isn't done. I would have preferred a magazine management system, where you cycle back through to partials, but lacking that, throwing away bullets, because you did a sound tactical reload is not realistic.

In fact add one more to the list...

    8) more inventory slots.

So the ability to deselect syringes, bandages, rations, and use those slots for more useful gear like C4, Grenades, mines, diversion lures etc

At least the ‘realistic’ Reload forces you to be a bit more mindful of ammo conservation...
First of all, if you fire five rounds, and are not under immediate enemy fire, yes you change mags. That is smart tactical doctrine. You really don't want your weapon going black when you are pushing up and actively engaged, I don't care how fast your reload speed is.

Secondly having the ammo go back into an ammo pool is far more realistic than throwing away a partial mag because you are doing a tactical reload. That was the sort of thing that would get the phase 3 BUD/S instructors to reward you with getting wet and sandy(we called it sugar cookie) every hour on the hour for a day or two. As would not reloading with a full mag while in cover. Really this is tactics 101.

Finally it isn't an either or in gaming. I've put up videos of another Ubisoft game that has a magazine management system. Granted then I wouldn't be able to carry those 500 rounds of 5.56 and another 500 of 7.62 like I was by the time Beta came to an end.

You ask for "realism" and want the operator to throw away perfectly good ammo as punishment for sound tactics, than ask for this fairytale stuff?

It would be really interesting to hear from the devs (or the CMs) about why they decided in favor of the current reload system instead of the one from OTT2.
Unless they themselves are also sworn to secrecy by the NDA, that is.

I would like to see them take Ghost Mode from Wildlands brought into this game. Possibly adding more to fit with the newer additions.
