People joined the wrong game if they wanted Balance, but when the company announced they are the business of ESports Titles , then make tons of changes, rip a game apart.... people still think the game isnt being balanced .. GG

Goat of Vermund is on my ignore list so I have the luxury of not reading his pontificating rhetoric, but it's still funny to see when people call him out on his hypocritical and argumentative behavior. The guy is one of the most toxic individuals on the forums as far as I am concerned and acts like his opinion should be on a pedestal. Glad that I don't have to see him trying to behave like he's a moderator over everyone else while simultaneously acting like a typical forum troll with a superiority complex.

My responses during a debate can be passionate from time-to-time, and there are even times when I go too far. But at least I don't pretend to be an expert on everything and I also don't give people irrelevant lectures as if I am the gold standard on debate conduct.

The bottom line is that this game has become a spam fest and the majority of us can probably agree to that, otherwise this thread wouldn't have picked up so much traction. The real question is what can be done to fix it. Personally, I think heroes are relying too much Hyper Armor attacks, I don't think that anyone should be able to launch an attack that magically ignores interruptions and preemptive strikes without them having to do any sort of defensive input; Hitokiri is Exhibit A in which most players just attack non-stop because there isn't enough risk especially when they are fighting Assassins.

The entire reason why i became interested in this game was because of the blocking, dodging, and parrying mechanics because it emphasizes the realism. Hyper Armor completely ignores those physics, which really reduces the quality of the combat. I'd rather have Hyper Armor removed from the game completely; not every hero has it to begin with so instead of relying on the HA gimmick, it would be better to rework the necessary move sets so that they don''t rely on having magic shield skin to be useful.

At the very least, add a reasonably long cool-down to Hyper Armor so that it cannot be spammed repeatedly.

I’m not sure why these self-proclaimed pros got all toxic and butthurt. They decided to make it personal with OP calling him an orange-channer and dumb **** like that just for expressing his opinion (obvious flaws) of the game.

If they wanted a civilized debate, there’s a way to do it without resorting to calling people nasty stuff. I’m glad OP hit them back with their own BS. For the record, I hate minions, and the loss of the kill animations is super lame. The little c**ts interrupt executions. It's dumb and irritating. And I'll complain about that any day of the week.

idk about all this spam though. I rarely get to play anymore. It's probably pretty obnoxious though. Turtling was still the strongest playstyle when I was last in it, and fast attacks > slow attacks. So I'm guessing it's all turtling HIto's who heavy on red.

I still think For Honor needs to ditch the stamina system (it's just so bad), and abandon the class system. Forcing BP to have 2 hit chains because it's a "Heavy class" is wow levels of dumb, and the naming convention is weird anyway. Yes, Gladiator, an...assassin? wot? Don't make fighters conform to a class structure, just make them good.
