The comunity is toxic but you can't really change them and i suggest playing other game like mordhau for example while waiting this game to be fixed/balanced, since mordhau is a game with nice community(most of the toxic community in there only play frontline), and it is the same as for honor but more realistic, the downside is that you can't expect cool things form for honor to be in there.

Now how about you actually back up your claim about population issues. Or back up your claim about how the "meta" of dominion is. I'd even settle for a detailed explanation on what you consider they've "dumbed down." If you can't be bothered to at least back up what you're claiming then the only discussion that can happen is people circle jerk agreeing with you.

I wouldn't say crybabies nor would I limit how many bad players their are to just console. The majority of the games total population is bad. Like, really bad.

Not their fault though. They're dealt a hand they might not be able to address (i.e having a better connection or setup.) In addition to the game not teaching players how to play really at all.

At best the games tutorials teach you what button does what. I'm endlessly thankful for an actual training mode but it's far from perfect. And the game needs to be a lot better when it comes to giving the community information on how the game works. Hell even a 10-15 minute mock up of some vet players explaining how to play dominion being put into the game would go a long way to improving the games teaching tools.

everything that made this game fun has been taken out of the game or dumbed down.
thought i'd give it a try after I stopped playing since marching fire and the game has only gotten worse.

I'm guessing at this point the dev team only cares about getting as much season pass sales as they could by releasing spammy unbalanced heroes before they announce they will be shutting down the servers due to the dwindling player base.

they remove the minion killing animations and most the community wants it back.. only to get some toxic replies from a dev or community rep on every post that asks them to add it back.

they nerf revenge to cater to those who lack the skill to fight one on one, hence changing the entire meta of dominion. prior to the nerf most skilled players would have not risked ganging up on a person and feeding them revenge. I suppose the devs decided to listen to the cry babies on this one. Once again dumbing down the game and making it a spam fest.

I've seen games where the devs work together with the community while also keeping the essence of the game intact and doing what's best for the game.., but in the case of For Honor it's a whole different story.

It's not about explaining it to me. It's called basic debating. If you're coming here making claims about something and someone disagrees then you have to back up what you're saying for proper discussion to be had. Otherwise it just turns into two people yelling and nothing is actually being done.

It's not about lacking anything, it's called asking you to provide your source. I have never heard of githyp.com but it says they pull their data from steam. So this tells me two things. First posting it and steam is kinda redundant and 2 you're only going off of pc numbers and not total population despite the fact that you're saying the population as a whole is dwindling.

Now I will provide my source which includes pc and ps4 numbers (as his xbox guy didn't come through with the two time frames he gave me.) But I could easily ask him to give me the data for the last time his friend provided xbox data if you wish.

If this is directed at me then the answer is quite simple. The forum has been rather slow lately and this thread has been sitting here in plain view too long for me to simply ignore.

make note of how more than half my kills are Honorable kills. So I have no issue going one on one with someone. Hence why i believe revenge should be the way it was, if the player is skilled enough to block and parry against multiple cowards he should be rewarded accordingly. Not this current garbage revenge mode that has made the game a gank/spam fest. and if the said player is unable to parry block against multiple opponents and chooses to take a risk and be more offensive instead of defensive in such a situation then there should be drawbacks to that accordingly. this is the thrill of dominion but currently all logic has been thrown out the window to cater to people who prefer a gank meta.

Now I know what the response to this is going to be like "iT's doMiniOn, gO plAy dUaLs" .. nah, devs should be encouraging players in dominion to play more honorably, instead of bending over to the demands of whiners.

I've been playing the game for way longer than you, even through the stage where they had ****ty servers and constant disconnects and connection issues were a thing, so you don't really get to say the game is fine as is.
