You can literally hang back and just snipe everyone. If you snipe and they witness a dead body or something they hide behind cover to where you can't hit them but then just forget about it. They enemy should be trying to flank you instead of just sitting there waiting to die. More com guys would help too.
Yeah... Sniping is OP, especially in real life. At a basic level a sniper in the military is trained to be able to take two shots with other expert snipers actively trying to spot his location and still remain undetected. IRL with a Tac-50(It has a listed effective range for spot targets as 1.5km, but kill have been taken with it out to 3.5km) you sit over a KM off and kill your enemies. If you stick with 1.5km, that gives the enemy a 2.25 km area they have to search to find you. That is rather large. Most soldier taking sniper fire don't know where the shots are coming from. An unarmored body will fall toward the direction of the shot, where as an armored body(assuming it hits the armor) will fall away from the shot. Which causes even more confusion.Originally Posted by W1cK3Dw4y2 Go to original post
So yeah, sniping is OP. It is kind of a super power.
Yeah, but the whole " Ghost" thing is about that kind of approach.Originally Posted by W1cK3Dw4y2 Go to original post
There were countless complaints on Wildlands that the base auto-located your position. This has been changed now, and it's a change for the better on my view.
Sniping is fine but once a base is alerted it should go on lock down and stay that way until you or your teammates go in and start flushing enemies out. They promote the enemy having drones so much they should send out half a dozen or so to look for the shooter. Even equip them with impact sensors that give feedback of any fire the receive to help the location process.
The video of the gear score 14 taking out the Wolves camp is just laughable. They above all other enemies should know to take full cover from all sides and hunker down until the drones Recon the area and ascertain the location of the sniper. Heck reroute an Azrael drone to do a flyby if you have to. Hell they have the lions share of tech this go around.
being able to snipe at 1km would be nice, problem is nothing renders past 300-400m in this game. Only problem i have with sniping in BP, and its not even a problem just a dumbing down of the game, is there is no bullet drop.
There are many many many many many more problems with the game, but sniping is fine if targets start rendering past 300-400m. and by targets i actually mean everything, buildings, trees everything.
I was able to mark and snipe enemies from 600m away. Beyond that they simply disappeared. I guess that is maximum draw distance for the settings I had on Beta.Originally Posted by KonaTC Go to original post
