Just downloaded ANNO 1800 and was very disappointed.
In Ukraine they give us no choise, but only to download it in russian! Even though demo version was in English. And they doesn't care that half of Ukrainians doesn't speak that language!
How you suppose us to play your games, Ubisoft? We dont even learn russian in school!
If you cant make Ukrainian localisation for 40 mln people, why not to give us a chance to choose English, which is international language and mandatory subject in every Ukrainian school?
They really not aware that USSR is not a thing for about 30 years from now
So, 20 mln Ukrainians have no choise, but to wait, when this game will be available on other sites, where you can choose language.
So stupid, Ubisoft
Hello Kissi2,

This is absolutely unacceptable and ludicrous. I have no idea why anyone in their right mind would assume that everyone in country X speaks the language of country Y just because they're politically/alphabetically connected.
Region-locking languages is absurd in general. Halo, anyone's ever heard of expats? You know, people who move to another country and DO NOT SPEAK THE NATIVE LANGUAGE OF IT?! It just pisses me off. Let people bloody choose the language of their games, what could possibly be the problem there?
@Kissi2
Try changing your operating system locale (Google how to, I don't remember exactly, did it ages ago). I know you can do it in Windows. It will help some programs install in your desired language or even change the way some software runs. I remember I had to change mine to Japanese one time to run a game and then my Photoshop turned Japanese as well. Perhaps it could do the trick before whoever thought to region-lock languages takes their head out of their behind. Cheers, man. Hope you still drop by here.
