From my experience your ability to take down enemies quickly does stay the same. It seemed more about their ability to spot you.Originally Posted by Big-Rooney Go to original post
Agree fully, love the looter side, constantly upgrading, unlike wildlands you are behind enemy lines, with no backup so why would you not constantly have to scavenge and upgrade your gear. Unlike wildlands where you have CIA and rebel support.Originally Posted by pini0n Go to original post
You just mistake and wrong opinion from your inexperience of Ubisoft games. GR Breakpoint is a big mix of many other games of Ubisoft, like Far Cry(for recollect plants and animals on the way on the ground and make items with it), like Division(the movements of our ghost agent), like Assasins(some movements and fight skills), like GR Wildlands(most all of it and vehicles drive style, story and fights moments)... I play all those games and see many of them inside of GRB and I celebrated but only if it will work good and have funny playing it. Will be the best game ever made if will work well.
My experience on this beta was very bad btw, because after a day play well with friends on discord, second day the game simply not work and close it each time I go out of central basecamp Ehrewan. With just some steps out there and the game crash, close and show me the desktop, so the sync of servers was worse and not let me play more.
What I expect and hope that our movement on third person will be better than on Division, like it is now, because is very bad to control with keyboard and mouse. It is better the movement of agent on GR Wildlands, more fluid, stable and controlled. Many times the lag of a simple fire shot was impresive so I must click it two times for do it real on the game. It was a very bad experience on this beta, more bad than two closed test before. I hope the open final beta will be better!!
Apart the sounds of weapons shots are very uniform, unreal and leak, as like all guns with suppressors make a lot of noise shooting and is same one on all guns. If devteam game want imitate the real weapon sounds, go play and see the Insurgency: Sandstorm game!!... There you will see the best game noise of guns shooting, as on real life!
Yah, a common problem with gun sounds in games is that they are all mixed at the same level so that a 9mm sounds as loud as a .50 BMG.
I don't expect the sound to blow my ear drums out but the gun sounds in Wildlands and Breakpoint are distinctly underwhelming.
They lack any kind of punch and don't have the correct presence in the game world.
Have you ever played a Division game? -Yes, both.
The only two things that can be compared are the Hub where you hang out with other players and the gear score.- Negative. Also class-based skill tree's. Bullet sponge enemies(don't know if you played long enough to get to all the goofy sci-fi drone vehicles.) Level based areas.
The hub is a normal thing in these open world games, it's not a feature from The Division.- Its not a normal thing in Wildlands. So the next thing people would compare this to in Ubi is... Division.
The gear score is nothing like The Division. Where do you see the extra stats on weapons, like +HP or +Grenade Throwing Range? Just because they are not visible does not mean they are not there.
The gear score in Breakpoint is just a way to "limit" your play zones.- You mean... Like the Division?
I never felt like the enemies were bullet spongy.- Every drone is spongy.
This game feels nothing like The Division.- Well it doesn't feel like Wildlands either.
I never seen a community complained so much about a hub. There are such things as an online hub that has a high population of players which has nothing to do with a story. Online HUB purpose is for gathering/matchmaking for PvE or play against in PvP. There also the Offline Hub. Clearly use for sightseeing A.i. and the one player only. Unable to matchmake, see, or go on missions with players. Trying to change a online hub that’s been structured like this for years is pointless. Perhaps they should make an offline mode if this is a mental/immersive issue.
The whole purpose for the Hub is to go on missions especially the planned updates they have coming in the future. Wildlands lack this a lot with just only putting open quick match to play with randoms. Many complaints about randoms not being tactical and ruining the host style of play. Later down the line Wildlands made a preference menu to co-op forPvE which still wasn’t helpful. The Hub better than any basic matchmaking system. Players who want serious missions, help others level up, and more would appreciate this.
Dedicated servers(for PvP) and Hub(for PvE) is s plus. Should have been out a long time ago cause companies like old school Sega been doing this for years with Phantasy Star, Monster Hunter from Capcom, Dead or Alive 4 Tecmo, and heck even 2k sports like NBA 2K use it. When I hear it’s like The Division cause of the hub some really think the Division started hubs while others the TD is the reason why Breakpoint got a hub. These features have purpose in online games period.
Yes because making out that you are the only person who survived and then dropping you into a huge cave full of other 'sole survivors' makes total sense
Sorry to tell you, it is there to sell cosmetics, it is not there for any other reason.
As I said in a previous post, make it optional for those who do not want to play online, problem solved.
But that won't happen, because it is all about money, and nothing to do with the reasons you listed.
To sell cosmetics🤦*♂️. So you rather go thru the Ubisoft store or the menu to get cosmetics. The menu would be so clustered. It’s more realistic to actually go get guns, gear, clothes, accessories from the shop like real life. Getting it the old school way to pile up your menu is even worst and not realistic. What you thinking is something cheap casual games do till this day.
