I agree that there was a strange lack of life going on.

i hope it is because the world system needs the whole map to be open to work properly so they basically turned the world off for the most part. That is complete speculation on my part, but I do expect /hope it will be better when the full game comes out.

I understand the lack of civilian life to a certain degree, tho i found many in the wild just as much as i found enemies. Personally i found wildlands was limited to activity to only the cities and villages. Not nearly as many out in the wild which my biggest complaint because i loved the landscape of Bolivia. I feel Breakpoint does a better job immersing you in the wild then Bolivia ever did and i've only played the beta.

I hope they don't change this with all complaints, i thought people would be stoked about this.

Yeah I noticed that. Bit flat.

Nope. Not stoked about a mostly empty world. The culture Wildlands had was one of the best parts of the game, imo. It was open world done right, imo. To me, Auroa is as empty and boring as The Division's New York. Sure, there are pockets of civilians here and there, and even a handful walking the streets, but it mostly feels empty. While there's a story explanation for it, it makes for a boring experience imo.

Anyone saying the map isnt dead clearly doesn't have a clue .. everything is just copied and pasted .. how many times do u need to come across 3 npcs standing next to a bike having the exact same conversation... then u get some random friendly npcs just standing in the middle of a woods doing nothing .. even the little towns (hard to call them towns ) are dead nothing going on .. really disappointed with all of the above .. it seems very lazy from ubisoft

And what is with the wolves that just appear out of no where .. in wildlands once u attracted attention they flew in and drove in .. in breakpoint they just appear out of no where no driving in no flying in ?? Again VERY lazy

Not only that, but many of the buildings in Cold War bases are copypasted like three times. And not only are the buildings copied three times, but all the supply pickups in the buildings are in the exact same location in all three buildings.

Laziness tends to happen when you're making a looter shooter. The most focus goes to those systems that directly support the loot system, and other areas tend to suffer as a result.

You're not seriously making an argument about "copy and paste". Wildlands did the exact same thing you are referring too. How many times did you speak to the same Rebel LT in any province who was sitting, eating a meal with an ammo crate and medical supplies in the exact same location as every time? That's just one example.

I'm glad it wasn't just me who kept bumping into the same 3 enemies with the bike haha.

I do feel the world is somewhat lacking though, i agree. It doesn't feel as immersive as wildlands. I understand the lone wolf idea they want, but they've just not managed to pull that off.

It's a shame they've pretty much close to ruined this game, but with a bit of luck they learn from their mistakes.

It would be nice if someone from UBI actually acknowledged what we are all saying and at the very least replied.

The only saving grace for me in this situation is how they brought Splinter Cell back with blacklist. I think it was Conviction that everyone was like wtf? Who knows if they care about GR enough to turn it around with the next installment. I wouldn't say GR is ruined. It's teetering on the edge for sure.
