    Shooting out lights?

You could shoot out lights in wildlands, but I haven't found any lights you could shoot in breakpoint. Also I know how to turn the power off completely, not what I'm looking for.

You can only shoot out the search lights or kick out small lights on the ground.

I was able to shoot out lights in the cold war bunkers, so it must be a mechanic, I think I took out a streetlight as well

Actually, I could barely find lights that I COULDN'T break. indoors light, shed lights, bunker lights, ground lights, projectors... all can be shot off.
What im not sure about is how much that helps to keep you hidden. I had a very hard time testing this so I have no conclusions....

From what I tested, Wish I had more time. It's no different than WildLands, minus the Ai seeing all the way trough buildings and cliffs and spotting you. My first test was with snipers and I was spotted trough some of the densest tree lines, on the darkest nights. The problem with that is the snipers had no form of visual enhancements. No night/heat vision.

Then I went to shooting out all of the lights in bunkers and buildings and hid behind some old boxes. Made some guys with flashlights stalk me (I wasn't spotted yet) Just made some rustling noises. I peeked out a little and was almost spotted by one of the guys peripheral vision. He didn't even look my way or flashed his lights in my direction.

Then went on to out in the open testing during rain storms at night in bases and open fields. No different than WildLands.

It's weird what they are doing with the lights as of now. Some lights of the same type and model can be shot out while others can't. I mean they have the mechanics for it why do that. Also some light I don't know if it's just a missing file has full bright textures when they are shot out.

    Or place a mine.

The night vision doesnt work as intended and doesnt provide the functionality we need, imo, but the AI at least is really improved. The way they check on stuff really helps using mines against them well.

I had to shoot against just a couple of lights. Not really because enemies could see me, but because at least one of them was too bright in a night scenario, preventing me too see enemies w/o NVG and w/ NVG.

That's very worrying, and one more reason for me to wait for (post)release before deciding to commit to this game.
Thanks for testing this out and sharing the results, much appreciated.

I had the same results as most of you with the lights at first I thought that the Skell Tech lights were LED and that was the logic they were using, but I tried to shoot some regular lights and no luck.
