Why.. and again how did it go this wrong :/

So where did it all go wrong?

You did wildlands, very generic but it was challenging and fun!
Now you just rush in ... stand in one corner while the AI runs after you.
Stealth is not rewarding, going straight in on the highest difficulty by just understanding how the AI works makes you cut the time by 2/3rds.

The amount of bugs are completely absurd. Cant ress fellow players, bullet drop is a pure joke.
Graphics are not on par of what wildlands delivered, stuck in certain terrain objects where I have to logg out because I cant do anything, tabbing out just makes the whole game chop like a chef prepping for a fine dining dinner. Then change from borderless and back to full screen again.
Being targeted on the other side of a cliff while the AI runs the wrong way..

On top of that, loot. It's everywhere, like the division as people mentioned. We maintain it as much as we play, upgrade, switch every 5 minutes.
    Why?

Missions and the mission table is just a mess, Confucius must been part of the developer team? The old game was just better at everything.

Don't get me wrong, the game isn't terrible but how can you justify it by going backwards on every single aspect and hope that it will be received well.
A console port that is played on pc, its not what we asked for and I can only assume a lot of us would agree.
Some of us will even buy it because that's just how they feel, I respect that. But they also have to understand that they give in of helping companies like Ubisoft to release half finished products and be fine with it. Majority of the game industry works this way and that's why we get these unpolished betas one month before the release.

I wish that for those who buy this game will love it, and be treated well with updates, optimization features and content.
For me, borderlands will be my next buy. I get what I pay for.

How is everyone else feeling about his?

I agree. I was really excited for this game but after playing the beta, I was extremely let down.

Feels like a worse time than we had with grw after the release. We got bloused boots, a battlebelt and more drones. On top of that we have to deal with it by tiered loot. Customization is same or even a step backwards. All they made well with grw will be messd up. And the rest will be treated as effortless as it was.

My taskforce member said it best. This game is a conversation killer. They have traded the flow and fun of WL for tedious, over complicated loot systems where you spend half your time in your menu's.

Nobody asked for this because nobody wanted it.

Yet we can't get a single word from them about anything experienced in the beta. Great communication from them right?!

There are so many issues in this beta, I sure as **** hope they push the game back some.

The people behind the scenes that run the show have no clue, just like the tools at EA who thought the battlefront 2 MT's were an awesome idea! Look how that turned out...

I swear the studios these days have some messed up visions for "entertaining" video games.....

Ok ok listen you make some desent points some i agree with and others not so much. So I must say a few things Ghost Recon Wildlands basically put a brick in the A.Is head and told them good luck. There was no stealth in it once your spotted thats it guns blazing and they know were you are all ways. Put it this way a chase game the chasers the A.I and NOMAD is you and once your spotted your tracked stealth over AND in recon it wasnt encourage to stealth. But this game isn't better but they improved to feel like a human. (besides them knowing were ever sniper shot comes from) Also this game has challenge the Azreal drones and after gear level 30 the wolves can show up. Its hard and fun. So I do agree with you but its a closed BETA if it was opened then I would be here trashing it. (I remember ghost recons open beta was bugged to hell)

The difference is, in GR Wildlands you wanted to stealth as much as possible since the actual combat with weapons was not easy and messy.
In this beta, the level 150 combat area where they one shot you, can be cleared with minimal effort. 300 meters away, head shots. 42 gear loot drops like candy.
A closed beta so close to release in this state isn't anything to be hyped for. If this was 6 months before release, I would not give any feedback since there is a time frame to recover from.

GR Wildlands was not bug free, but it had a feeling people loved. This doesnt.

I own a .308 bolt-action. The ballistics on this game are not even close to actual bullet drop of a high-powered rifle.

If they got help from actual special forces operators, I’m curious.
