halfway through attacking a base- for the 3rd bloody time!! everycontroll other than move stopped working. couldnt even pick up things dropped on the floor!!! only way out was to get killed fast travel nothing would work

Hello! What were you doing prior to the controls locking up? Most players found this happening after drinking water. Others found this happening when performing a melee takedown, or when trying to pick up a dead body.

i was in the middle of a firefight. tactical withdrawl !!! while sprinting, when my character stopped i turned around to face enemy again and could then do nothing but move around

Reporting similar issue as ChillNath during firefight “ghosts of the past” mission. I purposely backed into a corner at the AAB and then alerted enemies with gunfire so they’d funnel into the room at the end of the firefight most controls timed out except sprinting and pause menus.
After reading in forum posts I attempted going into the water behind the base to deep swim then returned to the base to collect the cold war intel required for mission as I had not gone far. Character is controlling as before the glitch now. I hope this helps fix an ongoing glitch since the OTTs. Thanks

I to have experienced this annoying aggravating issue several times, the last time was when 2 heavy wheeled drones chased me down and i holed up in a a abandoned home i was able to kill 2 guys who ran in but then my guns main clip was was out of ammo but I have no controls now to reload i can only move, cant switch weapons or anything other than run around like an idiot and hope to die to reset. Hope this gets fixed before the main game hits.

For me I had this issue when trying to swap items. EG: changing from bandages to rocket launcher it simply would not do it. and I had to die and try again. So frustrating when you have all but cleared out a large sentinel base. Maunga Nui port for example.

happened when I was stabbing a guy in front of the others - after that the only thing I could do was run - similar to when I was lifting a body where I wasn't sometimes even able to move until I dropped the guy.
