Drone doesn't work. Won't deploy. | Forums

Tried rebinding the key. Logged off several times. Just does nothing when I mash the drone deploy button. And yup I got the point in the story line where I'm supposed to have it.This is my second character and as my first was deleted (on purpose, ensures I don't play it, its who I am) I cannot check to see if its on both. However before the character was deleted it worked fine.

Ihave the same problem, but I didn´t deleted my character, but my drone also doesn´t deploy

Hey guys, thanks for reporting this issue. It's good to know that it was working on your first character, panther88ronin. Let's try verifying your files, and then checking again.

Can you both also try to change classes and uncheck/recheck any drone skills you have in your skill tree, and then check to see if that makes a difference?

Have you guys tried holding the deploy button a little longer? I'm using a controller on PC, and I've noticed that if I tap the deploy button it will not deploy. However, if I hold it for a second it does deploy. Hopefully that helps you too.

Having exactly the same issue on my PS4. Also my NVG and thermals stopped working at the same time

Had the same drone/NVG issues on the first character I created. Second and third character had no issues with the drones or NVG.

Tried rebinding, Swapping classes/drone skills/perks and replaying the mission.

I believe I crashed or disconnected during the cut scene where you receive the drone off the wounded ghost. Might of been the cause.

I have the same issue.. I've tried Verifying my files, binding several keys and mouse buttons. Holding the keys or buttons for a long time or just tapping them. I can hear a button activation sound, but no drone launch. Drone was working up until i got a skill for multiple drone enemy marking. Maybe related to the skills you choose?

I’m having the same issue on Xbox. Tried changing class and checking all drone related skills. Tried fast travelling, killing myself, restarting game and console, changing load out and skin override. Still nothing. Pretty frustrating I can do any reconnaissance using my reconnaissance equipment in this reconnaissance game.....

I have the same problem. Try changing classes and all the other things they mentioned but without effect. create another game and there it works but it is to start all over again. Is there support through technical service to review it and fix the error?
