How do you know who's your main?

my kensei is rep 18,orochi rep 15, shinobi rep 13, shugoki rep 12, centurion rep 14, lawbringer rep 13, warden rep 14, nobushi rep 14, hitokiri rep 12, warlord rep 14, berserker rep14, highlander rep 14, valkyre rep 10(other than that i don't really remember), so who's my main(i prefer playing the samurai since they have some cool moves)

Guess it depends on your own decision. Mine would be clearly my rep 51 pk, but I also consider bp and lb my mains with 10+ reps (while I don't consider my rep 23 warden my main anymore). Some people have one, some many, some none.

The one which give you a really special feeling of pleasure while playing him.
It can be a few of them.

I am also the kind of player who like to play many different heroes and to grind a new one time to time.

But at the end of i should choose my top 3 in terms of pleasure it would be : Aramusha, Shaolin and Kensei. Top 5 i would add Shaman and Hito.
Then i would finally add Valk and Glad.

But i have many reps with lots of heroes i dont really play too :
    Warden rep 14 / Cent rep 10 / BP rep 11 / PK rep 11
    Zerk rep 12
    Shinobi rep 11

So i consider i have a bunch a mains with some being my fav. You look to be in the same position. I have a preference for Samurais too.

Thank you for helping me and i think my main(someone when i play i got pleasure with) are Kensei,Orochi, and Centurion(i play shinobi and berserker only for the deflect to counter hitokiri and raider since they even spam more than most orochi i met and they have hyper armor).

OP: A main is a hero you are optimal at fighting anyone. So since you play a wide assortment its possible that you don't have a main as you are probably rusty with all heros. For all discussions you would probably be a ken or a shinobi main.

As your main is suppose to be a testament to your own skill not a test of the other persons skill. Meaning if you pick a main such as orochi and just try to light spam your opponent to death. I wouldn't consider him your main. Like I play Nuxia and cheese people with her and no matter how great I get with this hero I'd never consider her my main. All she does is push the opponents skill to the limit but doesn't really test the users abilities.
That is my take: Do with it as you will.

Lightspamming with orochi is asking to be deflected/parried so, no lightspam for me when i use orochi(it is vice versa when enemy orochi try to lightspam me too), and i can say that my kensei gameplay is better at least than most new kensei main who only use his light and side dodge attacks, and some trigger happy kensei or kensei who only do the same move(not doing any other soft feint or mixup), it is the same too with kensei who just soft feint to gb or side lights since i can dodge to the attack when they do soft feint to light and if they decided to gb i can just light/cgb them, but with soft feint heavy it is kinda harder since everyone will most likely feint predict/react able attacks and better kensei than me that i met kinda able to use his whole kit to confuse their opponent(i sometimes forget his kit because i panic when my opponent can make the fight flow for their benefit which making things worse for me), so i can say i am better than your average player at using characters like kensei, orochi, shinobi, berserker(if you count feint into light to get HA is skill but at least i use deflect and unblockable too), and warden(if you count mixupping with shoulder bash is skill).

All I'm saying is there are two types of people who pick their mains.
    1. The people that pick their main to challenge themselves.

    2. The people that pick their main to exploit their heros moveset and challenge the opponent. The gimmick, tier watchers, or "high ground" type of people.

I've fallen into both categories myself at one point or another. I feel the first category is more legit to the spirit of the game.

That's true and most people would prefer the second choice, if i have to guess since the devs are really bad at balancing

I think Crimson has put it nicely. Your main is the hero you are most comfortable playing, you like to play the most, the one you know the most about, and you probably already attached lots of muscle memories to it.

I guess it's Kensei then(love his style because he is like the samurai master).
