I think he means, “why does the night vision look $hit” when you activate them compared to GRW night vision goggles.

Why does the night vision look like you have rubbed vaseline in your eyes?Originally Posted by Ubi-Lucipus Go to original post
It's ok. The Division didn't have night vision so it's gonna take a while to get it like Wildlands... Shouldn't take more than the 4th or 5th update.Originally Posted by Ubi-Lucipus Go to original post
This isn't Division so making a statement like that is either sarcastic (which was how I saw it) or just wrong in every way... This shouldn't have been an issue if they were building on the foundation of Wildlands... It would seem that they build this game on the foundation of Division 2 and that is a big problem...Originally Posted by TreFacTor Go to original post
But I don't want to change the subject so I will just say that the night vision does suck, and when you are inside a building or just under a roof the night vision cannot see outside and the outside becomes as dark as it would have been without night vision. I don't know if this is because of realism or not, if it is realistic then I would vote that it stays that way...
I got it to work, I had to bring up scope then night vision while scope up.Originally Posted by ProGamerzXXL Go to original post
The night vision is overly bright and saturated, at least on an HDR tv it is. All the display settings at default 50 which looks fine in everything else is so bright in night vision you can hardly make out things. Not to mention it's very hard on the eyes.
Also, the other one that sshows heat signatures needs a bit more contrast difference between people and their surroundings. You have to be way too close to them to actually see them, especially if they aren't moving.
Forget which base I was in, but I was in the big warehouse on one and when I turned it on my screen became a strobe light and didn't matter if I turned it back off it stayed strobe light. That definitely needs fixed or you going to be giving some people seizures that never had them before.
