Anyone successfully taken down a Behemoth solo??

If so, share your amazing skills and how to defeat this bullet sponge madness that we were told would never be in a GR game..

I feel like the game has gone the way of Odyssey where the developers are ignoring the stealth aspects of these once-great titles.

I just don't get how this works, guns have level???? and same for cloth, this feels like a rip of elements from all kinds of games. I took the helicopter to attack from the top. its seems you can only shut down for a while, there is nothing you can do about, I suppose you need to play the storys in order to find a solution to beat down this sponge

use rocket launchers to destroy his armor

that will expose some cores. not sure if there are 3 cores. 1 in front and 1 in each side

so, dont shoot at beginning. just use the RL or some frag grenades

then start shooting. i use the class sniper, and a sniper weapon. the class skill deals good dmg

u can stun him. save some emp grenades before the fight.

throw 1 emp grenade, then some frag grenades or shoot it. emp again

keep challenging it and u will know when its about to launch those missiles and will be easy to evade.

thats how i do it. im sure half of this is wrong, but it works for me haha

but, yeah. i dont get it. whats the purpose of this enemy? custody some chests? like in FF?

I solo the wolf camp and the Behemoths easy enough it's all about knowing your enemy and exploiting their weaknesses. Behemoth has its armor pop that easy enough then exposed the blue power sources. 1 on each side.[ front, back left, right] Blow them up one by one it gets stunned gives you time to move around and pop a second and then third. Each time you pop an energy source its takes massive dmg. Killed one last night with around 10 shots as a sharpshooter with a tac 50 and drone dmg perks.

Just yesterday night, it spawned next to a cliff so I just climbed to higher ground and chipped away dodging the artillery attacks until it died.

There is no particular challenge to it. You just beed bullets and patience.

Thanks guys you're right. Just got my first one by sniping those blue cylinders then hitting centre mass.. A bit silly that I dropped 5xc4 charges then doubled back, the behemoth went over it and I blew up the c4 and it didn't make a dent but the sniper does??... terrible mechanics. God, I wish Massive designed this game cause Ubi Paris (or whoever) are a cluster f**K of bad decisions.

    You do realize that t
he offensive use of anti-materiel rifles are to hit hard targets. A .50 BMG can do damage.

    I used Panther class.

Make INvisible, sneak up, since invis doesnt work... drop c4 on him, run away. This should remove some armor. Then use grenades and emp grenades and shoot a bit. The rest is history

Its not that hard actually. If there is a turret present, just sneak up and hack it. Emp nade the beast, spray with turret until he figures out were you are, retreat and finish the job with a 50.cal sniper.
Probably not the sexiest way to do it, but it works...
