I had so low expectations going into this beta that I actually had some fun playing this. Tho I do not consider it a true GR experience.

I voted definite dislike on the divisionesque RPG, looting and movement system.

The game based on beta I gave 7 out of 10.

I personally like this game so far. I don't like the bugs but have noticed some sounds improved today and the graphics got huge amount better. The type of gear improvements in this game isn't near as stupid as Division 1 & 2. I understand what you guys mean though. I like having something to grind for as long as my time is rewarded with an improvement or an upgrade. In real life, guns can upgraded with chrome line barrels, drop in triggers, better buffer springs, adjustable gas blocks, etc. It's not outside of the realm of reality that a new gun performs better than a worn out and unserviced one. They fix the bugs, I'm buying this game. Just my 2 cents.

Firstly Thanks for letting us try out the beta and get a taste of what the second installment has to offer.

It's a mixed bag of feelings from where I sit, certainly not the superb Wildlands unfortunately but addictive none the less. Breakpoint to me feels like it's tried to grow up but has not learned enough from it's roots and needs to sit down and listen some more before going out into the world.

Where Breakpoint succeeds is in the athletic department but that's about where it ends, all else is a mess of trying to hard to be unique but failing with the use of stuff that has already been tried in other titles.

Wildlands was and still is raw and punchy, Breakpoint is schizophrenic. Sure things need to progress but too much can cause a negative. Take The Division 2 for example, looks great but lacks pretty much everything that it's predecessor did bloody well.

Must be tough for the game dev's, stuck in a position to offer a new title and not rehash an old game or try something new and get backlash from the community, this is where Breakpoint is right now, and the name suits.

There is a month to tweak the AI, Helicopters, Falling down every little bump in the landscape and the gawd awful base, hopefully ubi will read this official forum more than reddthat and add the base elements from Wildlands, like your squad!!! Who the hell was the dev that though dropping your squad was a good idea!! at least let the player choose how they want to play the game, cause this is about sales at the end of the day and as Breakpoint stands it should not be the predecessor to Wildlands cause it's nothing like it!.

All said I had fun and will buy the game, and the fact it ran smooth without any crashes *cough TD2 cough* on every setting available was a nice change. I see it uses battle eye and not that incurable cancer called EAC which I am happy about.

Ubi, add the squad to single player (I read that you intend to) and tweak the hill decent a bit, add more AI enemy's to pick off on the bases and certain checkpoints plus change the tactics of the AI in bases so they don't heard into a door to be picked off. Fix the Heli's as they are more than crap to the point I'd rather run the entire map than use one and last but not least, listen to the community on this forum more than any other site, you have the intelligent hardcore player base right here
