We can thank the leveling system for that as the roles are reversed if you try to take on the Wolves at one of the crash sites.

What I liked about GRW was the fact that you remained (essentially) as susceptible at the end of the game as you were in the beginning. .....so did the enemy. Obviously, choosing certain skills on the tree can change that but the game remained pretty consistent depending on your choice. If you don't choose to upgrade your health skills, then basically, that didn't change.

.....but as it is, simply progressing through the initial part of GRB, I am essentially steamrolling my way through with little concern of being hit. Haven't even used any bandages, etc.

....so your health automatically regenerates after a firefight like the Division?
I tried this game frst on advanced. way too easy. So I switched it to extreme, boring is all I have to say. It sucks that I can't access a higher tier of difficulty that will actually challenge me and force me to treat this as a tactical stealth shooter. but instead if you have decent gunplay you can run and gun the whole thing on max difficulty. not to mention that the AI that everyone talks about being drastically improved are still brain dead and super predictable. If I wanted to I could sit in the corner of a building and clear a whole base as they are walked 1 by 1 through the same door to be immediately dropped. All im say8ing is that I shouldn;t be able to do that on the highest difficulty.

Really?! And how about they spamming at me mortar fire which killed me a few times? This is what you call "can´t reach you"?!

Really?! And who said that? Also, If I go with helicopter - I should land it withing these circle too or it won't count? XD And if I must fight in circle - why Behemoths have long range mortars which shells can kill player on a much larger distance that in those circle?

    But anyway, you were talking:

I have shown that you just plain wrong: on those difficulty and with big tier gap you still do enough damage to kill those Behemoths. Yes, they still kill you fast, but you deal good amount of damage too, So, looks like Bone_Frog was rught and you - not. Or you just trolling. :P

Thanks for the feedback on this topic. We are forwarding this along. Would an option to turn it on / off be okay? Or maybe dependent on which difficulty setting you pick? Feel free to let me know. Thanks everyone!

That would be good certainly the hardest difficulty level should not have heath regain and maybe the second hardest also

    Thank you for responding....

PLEASE — don’t lock these things into a difficulty setting or a new mode!

I’m conscious that some might want to play on EXTREME but still want health regen.

ITS FAR BETTER TO GIVE PLAYERS OPTIONS TO TAILOR THE EXPERIENCE TO THEIR OWN PREFERENCE....

    So yeah —

    1) an OPTION to turn OFF health regen would be fantastic!

    2) an OPTION to make resources more sparse, no infinite bandages, and less ammo. Make scavenging and crafting more essential.

Optional in all gamemodes except the hardest one.
Additional in the hardest one everything should be sparse like bandages, syringe and ammo and make crafting and survival more reasonable.... and most importantly remove the red fog for enemies.

If you tie an achievement to it, completling the game on such a mode with a special award, then it would be worth it even for people who don´t like hardcore but achievements (like ghostmode for example)

Optional for every mode. It is better when there are more options for players to customize the game. So checkbox is fine! That way will be evryone happy: those who liked current Extreme difficulty and those who want more hardcore expirience.

to be honest,i'd love to see new difficulty level, so called survival, where it would put player into "real" survival situation, where player need to think and plan his actions, so survival elements would be useful, like adding systems what would actually meant something beside drinking water to refull stamina, i'd should be more towards realism, where players who want this type of experience, should be allowed to gather plants, seeking food and using water for obviously not dying, but i guess its too hardcore i would also connect achievments to this mode so even players who don't like this type of experience can try it just for achievment, and achievment hunters like they always do, max the game, giving them challenge could be more fun and interesting for them, and people who like roleplay like most of the people did on extreme no hud in wildlands, could find the game what they needed
