    I totally disagree with you.

BUT that’s why I’m asking for OPTIONS.

If you like it — then that’s fine!

But at least have OPTIONS for people who want a more hardcore and immersive experience.

People arenīt talking about "NORMAL"-mode.... there healthregen is actually good for new players.

People are talking about "EXTREME"-mode... which should be the hardest possible mode (hence why itīs called EXTREME), in which everything is about survival and thinking about your next step... but it isnīt, not even close!
Itīs just run&gun braindead... you donīt even have to use bandages or syringes at all (i even unequipped them for bufffood)

I created threads about the exact same topic, just like many others did. Extreme is basicly the same as normal mode.

Extreme should be like the following:

    - no enemy markers when pointing with your weapon at them

    - no red fog for enemies on your minimap

    - no markers at all (even no mission markers except on the map)

    - no minimap

    - no healthregen and no unlimited bandages (change the lootable syringe to bandages or/and let us only carry 3 at max and make them sparse so we actually have to think about if we should use one or just live with our wounds until we arrive at the base again where we can "CRAFT" new.... on top of it bandages should only stop bleeding, but not heal entirely up)

    - no carrying 100000000 ammo (seriously.... you just dropped with a chopper, ammo should be sparse)

    - enemies should actually react like elite soldiers... but they donīt... i can easily kill one by one without getting shot once (even they got alarmed.... they are just standing there and donīt even run for cover)

    etc etc etc

I play on Advanced and health not only regenerates after a firefight, but also during.

I do get to use syringes here and there but its not what i was hoping for.
I hoped that having syringes would be more important.
The main thing i wanted is that even small skirmishes would have consequences. Right now these skyrmishes in the wild are super easy 90% of the time and i usually aurvive them, but if i lose some health it doesnt matter. It doesnt have any consequences. Syringes has no use most of the time.
If health would only partially regen it would make these small skyrmishes still have meaning on what comes after since you'd have less health or less syringes.

but i no longer need bandages at all either since syringes heal i juries as well. And even if they didnt, bandages are infinite and it also reduces the "survival" aspect theu were bragging so much about.

The entire "survival" aspect have been reduced to nothing. Its a shadow of its initial intention. a shame.

The Advanced difficulty is pretty hard for me and its not a complaint about difficulty. Its about WHAT is the REASON for the difficulty, and the survival elements really appealed to me - walking around with very little health and knowing you need to find bandages or a Bivouac. It changes how you play while u r thin on resources. Thats the fun part.

    Yep that’s my sentiments.

I want the full survival experience.

    I’m playing on EXTREME.

After every firefight, my health replenishes all 3 bars, I’ve tested it extensively.
I’ve never used a bandage or syringe.

It’s total BS. I hate health regen in games. ESPECIALLY in a game like this....
Health reduction happens two ways. Grazing shots that temporarily reduce your health, and enough of them will kill you. Regeneration of this health is automatic when the fire fight ends.
Then there are actual wounds/injuries. I play assault so I have four health bars. First level is limping. Second level is limping and can no longer aim primary, only hip shoot. Third level is limping(slower it seemed) and could no longer use primary only secondary(pistol). Also at this point I could no longer cycle my inventory items. I had to use what ever was currently equipped(I.e. frag grenade as opposed to syringe).

After I downed my last enemy in a hail of pistol bullets, I was able to cycle to bandages or syringes, would have used a bandage, but as another Azrael drone was inbound, I popped a syringe and buried myself in the mud.

Only that fourth health bar recovered, the other three stayed red until I expended the syringe.

I tested the crap out of it....

fought a behemoth solo (since iīm at gearscore 40) and he had to hit me 20+ times and let me heal back up again without using a single syringe or bandage until i finally got a 1 bar injury.... iīm playing on EXTREME difficulty btw.
This is just plain ridiculous and makes this game feel like an MMORPG where you just tank the damage and heal back up during the fight.
Real elite soldiers like ghosts in a tactical shooter would avoid getting shot at any cost and since this is a game we shouldnīt die instantly but get injuried straight with first hit (especially on extreme difficulty)... this was the idea in first place anyways, hence why during early alpha you didnīt have unlimited bandages.

I realy donīt get it why they changed it so drastically, even the extreme mode....
who was crying about this "great injury system" so that they basicly made it nonexistent and you realy have to focus on getting hurt until you get the first wound (it was realy hard to play like this since i play every ghost recon game like real ghosts, elite soldiers, stay in cover and pick my targets)?

Well if you yourself are at gear score 40, then technically you are equal to at least one Behemoth on the map. Maybe extreme mode is bugged for some. Admittedly when I took on my first Behemoth, I was gear score 11, I had to use three syringes. Granted I also don't carry a second primary.

Obviously youīre lying since behemoths are level 40 and thanks to tiered gear you wont make any damage to them or even survive a single hit!
