I've never played any other titles in this franchise, but what I was expecting (according to what was advertised) was a game that focused heavily on survival and resource management.

Well ... it's not like that at all. It is practically impossible to finish the ammunition or get seriously injured by a fight. I chose the maximum difficulty available and the enemies, although they can actually kill you with a couple of shots, seemed rather passive and stupid to me.
Yes, I died every now and then. But more for the lack of knowledge of the game mechanics and not for an effective tactical supremacy of the enemies.
And in addition, as I said before, I hardly ever needed to bandage a wound ... I only used the syringe a couple of times.

Honesty I was hoping to find something similar to Escape from Tarkov, but more "relaxed" having the pve separated from pvp.

Another thing that made me turn up my nose was the weapons.
The gunplay is ok, but the feeling of the weapons is bland.
It seems to shoot with toys rather than guns. In particular, sounds need to be sampled better. Try listening to a gunshot on escape from tarkov .... That is a properly sampled sound. Weapons are scary from how much noise they make in real life. I'm not saying that it should be like that in a game, but it certainly shouldn't seem like a pop pop pop.

On the other hand, however, I have appreciated that, unlike what I expected, headshots are always lethal regardless of the weapon.
For now I have never met an enemy who did not die after a few strokes to the body or with a blow to the head unlike what happens in Division 2. I don't know if there will be enemies ahead able to absorb bullets like sponges.
At this point I also have to ask myself why they have added the levels to the equipment. From what I have seen it does not affect the damage inflicted.

I don't know if I'll buy it. Certainly no pre-order. If I buy it, it will be a few days after the release to evaluate some other feedback of the full version.

That's exactly where I'm at, I'm going to hold out till open beta, see if they removed all the Division crap. If not I'm not buying it, and will probably refrain from buying another Clancy game and be very weary of a Ubisoft game. I'll tell you this, no more pre-orders

I got into the beta through pre-ordering, and I'm absolutlely keeping it. Part because I love the beta, and part because Wildlands still get updated, two whole years after launch. I assume Breakpoint will get at least as much attention as that. That menas it' a game I'll keep coming back to for a long, long, long time.

    No. Cancelling pre-order.

It may get fixed down the road, but it'll be on sale down the road as well.

Personally I'm enjoying it so far, are there there problems? yes. I am curious how old this build is vs the release.

The vehicles seem off, and have no real weight too them, and the motorcycles don't even feel like motorcycles. I mean you let off the accelerator and thy basically freeze in place. The weapon noises seem off as well. there doesn't seem to be a lot of impact to them.

I am however glad they didn't go whole hog on the survival mechanics, Drinking every 10 minutes and such would really bug me.

    Massive disaster!

    Nope. Pre-order cancelled.
This has nothing to do with Ghost Recon Franchise.
Animations are horrible, AI null, enemies plastic balloons ( no facial expression/blood/ interaction when dead).
A bloody social hub into a cave on a hostile and unknown island?!? A place where you can suddenly purchase weapons and tons of vehicles?!? From a community who is apparently hiding to survive?!? Simply ridiculous!!
Where is the feeling of being hunted by someone superior to us?!?
I haven’t feel even for a sec the survival atmosphere, wounds and healing system is crap, useless.
Everything in this game is crapped. Ubisoft is good on games trailers, then they destroy the rest!
Ubisoft better you cancel the launch of this pierce of trash, erase everything and start from the beginning or this will be a massive fail!
