Sadly no, I’ll not be purchasing this game anytime soon. I’ll check back in 12-18 months & hopefully there’s some major improvement & the game is on sale.
Had the funds ready to go but pre ordered CODMW a few days ago instead.
Still playing GRW which I still do enjoy but will stop once I’ve everything from the store.
Luck out there ghosts in the world!

    Undecided...

I had high hope's and was so excited to play but now I'm not even sure if I want the game to be honest. Its definitely not worth $60 much less $100😂😂. I know they put in a lot of hard work but they literally took out all the good things about GRW and added **** that nobody wanted(except for all the people who didn't like GR games and that's because GR was unique and some people wont like it).

When I first started playing and seen how the game had turned into basically every other "ubi"game out there right now I was completely disgusted. The characters where hilarious while sprinting looking like they had an m-16 shoved up their *** and the enemy was so predictable. Not so much talking about the way they chased you or responded to an alert but just how they are "randomly" placed throughout the environment in such a way that no matter where you where in the game (middle of a city, in rural area, jungle, mountains, marshland ect...) you go go any direction you wanted to and you couldn't go half a kilometer without encountering one of many scenarios: 2 man 2 motor bike or " "+ civilain. 3 man 2 motor bike or " "+ skelly employer. 3 man 1 truck or " "+ hostage........ the only thing that is random about any of the gameplay is whether or not there was going to be 2 sentinels and 2 bikes or 3 sentinels and 2 bikes and maybe a hostage here and there.

I know the game was a pre-release beta version but the environment is extremely dull and lack luster. I recently had a chance to play Far Cry 5 and the environment is so lush and vibrant and real feeling and it's very immersive but Break Point felt like an old 360 arcade shooter. Especially with the way the bullets flew like laser beams and had no significant bullet drop. Everything felt sped up and unrefined. And I wont even go into the U.I. and HUD because my fingertips would be bleeding before I was done.

I did find myself wanting to keep playing though and that was because I enjoyed some aspects of the game enough to put up with the terriblely designed gameplay mechanics and embarrassing character movements and animations (seriously the female character is so bad that I wouldn't wanna play this game in front of my friends bcus they would all make fun of how she looked sprinting... no joke). I guess I will either wait for the huge sale that happens bcus no one buys the game or buy it at a discount because it's not worth $20 to me. Not in it's current format.

Why would anyone would hurry up to wait, pay more to get less? That's is the essence of a pre-order scam... Do you really want to pay more to find out if Ubisoft has made enough money to fix this broken mess? More than that, this is a Role Paying Grinder that's online ONLY, so it has a built in expiration date, where not only everything you pay and grind for -- but the game en entire disappears when Ubisoft feels it's not profitable to keep it going anymore.

Even if you like Role Paying Grinders, this one is mediocre at best, incomplete, riddled with bugs and issues, and costs more then best seats to many concerts, once-off show like an iMAX movie, events like a race, or performance art thing like Cirque du Soleil. Would you buy the most expensive tickets to one of these events if you had a pretty good idea it might suck, get rained out, or finicky performers might leave early -- especially if you knew from all previous performances more tickets then could be sold would be on sale the day of the event for half off?

Most smart people do not: hurry up to wait, pay for something that's broken or unfinished to see if it might be fixed later, pay full price for a version one release when they know there will be a version two for less... So what's going on here? Not many smart people? Lots of spoiled endowment children with mommy and daddie's money to burn? Lots of people board and desperate for another role paying grinder to burn the hours of their lives to the ground in? Lots of people easily swayed by marketing hype? Pretty creepy...

Those critical of Breakpoint, even where you might 'feel' are redundant in the points they are making are doing far more good in making sure that Tactical Realism fans and fans of the franchise are not mislead by Ubisoft's marketing. There is no evidence that Ubisoft has ever paid significant game-changing heed to any criticism, how ever carefully crafted, positive, *** kissing, or constructive -- unless it's a change they can monetize.
Nah bruv ,you completely misunderstood my post. I'm all for constructive criticism, i have even suggested some myself. The point is people whom are unhappy express themselves more than those who are happy. you might bot get my grammar and that's cool. But my point that wildlands had as much negativity thrown at it and yet people are holding it as the rod to this one. It could be better and im not really down with the tiered loot, but overall i had fun with my friends and that to me is what gaming is about.

I'm happy for those 30% who like the game and want to buy it. I really want to love this game but I just can't. It just not GR I know and love. I'm fine with game evolving with each iteration, but it shouldn't discard it owns identity that make it unique.

    Hard pill to swallow

Most of us hate to admit it...but we’re gonna buy the game at some point or another and give them our money. They’re selling an improved division. Division fans like it, true tactical more realistic game fans don’t. I’ve cancelled my preorder but end up buying the game to get my “ghost fix”. Hate to say it but Ubisoft had one job to keep the Tom Clancy name alive and they’ve let us down. Imagine if the division had elements of R6 siege and wildlands how much better it would be, not the other way around.

I would not say this is the improved Division. I have 700+ Hrs. in The Division and 400+ Hrs. in The Division 2. I can clearly this feels more like a cheap knock-off from the Division. The Division is a much better game. It's designed to be a looter-shooter right from the start, so the mechanics just feels right. The control are crisp and fluid. The gun feels nice to shoot. In fact it even feels more tactical than this mess of GR.

agree with you. division is better than division 2. i played 600hrs on division 2, i can only play weekends and holidays. but this division 2 stop me from playing in just 3 weeks.

It’s not Wildlands, but it’s still good enough

I’ve played a large number of the Ghost Recon games, and my favourite was GRAW and GRAW2, I loved them, but alas I fear they’re gone forever.

But, I did play the Beta yo breakpoint after far to many hours in Wildlands, and while it’s not the same, and I don’t like a lot of aspects, I’m happy enough to say it’s going to take up my time for a long while. As long as the post launch support is akin to that of wildlands and AC Odyssey, I recon it’ll end up being a brilliant game.

I just hope it’s not so grind focused that I can’t get through it outside of work and life commitments. But only time will tell.

Overall I’m rather looking forward to it, and I’m sure our feedback will be implemented over time.
