    Since the latest patch, the game crashes on exit every time

    Since the most recent patch was released, I cannot exit the game cleanly. Every time I select "Save and Exit Game" I get a crash dialog. Also get random DirectX errors while playing or paused (I believe this is a known issue with DirectX12 and RTX cards)

    System Specs
    Windows 10 64-bit home edition
    DirectX 12.0
    Intel Core i7-9700K
    16GB RAM
    Graphics card: Geforce RTX 2070, 436.15 Geforce Driver

    Can you let me know what (if any) error messages you get on exiting and if you can also ensure that your drivers are up to date too.Thanks!

    Thank you for replying. Unfortunately, there is not much info in the error message. It is just a Windows 10 dialog box that says "Anno 1800 has stopped working...Windows will close the program". My graphics card drivers are the latest from Nvidia. I tried running Anno with DirectX 11 and had the same issue on exit.

    I have the same issue, I save the game normally, then hit the "save and Exit" and watch it crash....

    re: crash on exit

    Very disappointed in Ubisoft support - one shouldn't have to be a guru to play their games. I have already invested a lot of money to ensure my machine is up to the requirements and have posted a case file but it has been 2 weeks without even a response, apart from the autobot.

    Same problem here, game crashes on exit.
    Same problem... screwbisoft support with their copy and paste answers is a horror.

    There could be many reasons for the crash but it would help us identify it if you could provide a DXDIAG and MSINFO report in a support case on our support site, You can find instructions on how to create these files and attach them to this ticket in the links below
