"Exploitation of the PVP ladder" message to the wrong person | Forums

I opened the game to play for the first time in a week or so and got a message that says "exploitation of the PvP ladder will not be tolerated. Continuing this behavior will result in penal ties and in-game suspension".

This makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE. Isn't "exploitation of the PVP ladder" when people just start games and lose them to get easier opponents when there are prizes? I haven't done that at all. I am not in anything legendary and to be honest I don't even understand what I'd have to do to be there. The only reason I played some PVPs that I didn't win them all was a week or two ago I playing and Wendy told me to play PVP with cowboys or girl players or whatever, and I'd just do what she said instead of playing my normal deck. And I'd STILL do pretty good, even using non-preferred cards. So tell me, how is doing EXACTLY WHAT THE GAME TELLS ME TO DO any kind of a problem for anyone?

You're not the only one to post here about getting that message. Several others have posted in the past week that they've gotten this message, and one of my team members has stated this as well. You're getting the message because the system likely flagged you as a deranker. My teammate who it happened to had hit a losing streak, through no fault of her own, then got the message next time she logged on.

I just got this message today. It’s nice to know that losing matches will make it so you can’t play. Getting tired of the nonsense.

This is an oopsie bit of coding by RedLynx. Clearly they misunderstand how deranking works, and losing games doesn't immediately make you a deranker. There have been 2 ideas posted on the forum that would help fix deranking due to extremely low player levels instead of just marking players who lose a lot, and RedLynx should be trying this instead.
