Keep in mind this is about 2v2 and 2v2 only:
So many people agree to have an honorable fight and when they see they are losing they start ganking, and if they are playing Raider/Warlord/Lawbringer they position themselves so they can ledge kill
There should be an option at the start of the 2v2 where players vote for an honorable fight or not. And if the vote is in favor of the honorable fight then you start the fight binded to the opponent in front of you, meaning you cannot unlock once you lock and your opponent's teammate cannot damage you, bash you, blind you, sweep you, gb you, ledge you or give you revenge
If the vote says no from the beginning I can expect it, but if you gon' give false promises, I'm sorry, you're kind of a dingle. Now I can't swear on the forums cause I would straight up spit fire on all these mothacluckers
The mentality of playing cheap when you are losing is promoting braindead gameplay, the game is reassuring you that you can resort to easier methods when you are losing. The noob methods. Running away and waiting for your team mate to win so you can gank, ledging, unlock techs, all of these should be destroyed in 2v2. 1v1 maps shouldn't even have ledges, c'mon Ubisoft what you sleeping on is an opportunity to make the game more enjoyable
Also decrease the number of ledges from all maps altogether, there are like 3 ledged in each capture zone in Dominion

That's cool. So what's the problem with coming prepared to be in a team at any moment in a mode that allows for team fights and has the revenge mechanic enabled?Originally Posted by TOCKSYK Go to original post
My view over this game is that you have to improve. You have to learn. Hustle everyday to become betterOriginally Posted by Vakris_One Go to original post
Then you got Hitokiri and Raider in a corner: REEEEeeEEEEeEeE I GOOD AT GAME I PRESS BUTTON
I like 4v4 a lot, I understand ganking in that game mode, and I support smart ganking where you coordinate to kill your opponent. But in 2v2 it's just not cool, it depends so much on the team comp. I would rather fight 1 on 1
I think if all 4 people agreed on 1v1s, then one starts to break it, that's really bad sportsmanship. However, if one of the 4 says he/she won't care and play it as an all out team fight, then that's it, the mode is built on that in mind (and if in turn his/her team mate doesn't interfere and the two opponents can gank him/her because of that, that's a reportable act of griefing).
I honestly don't know how you can punish the behaviour when someone breaks a truce.
Pretty much exactly this. One of my friends and I go in for 2v2, we will say at the start of a match we are doing this and the first thing we do is to get together just so that we are clear on that. Of course some people try to game that and just not follow that quickly while their teammate attacks, that sucks for the teammate because we're not being gamed into 1v1's like that, we've also had people who were doing it 2v2 then just suddenly decided they didn't want to so screw their teammate in which case we 2v1's him then went 1v1 with his partner, but we do tend to do anything we can to ensure that the opponents at least expect it and that it is relatively fair.Originally Posted by Goat_of_Vermund Go to original post
Ultimately though it is a 2v2 mode, that's what is up top, and we don't have to do as much as we do to make clear that is how we are treating it.
