I asked my fiends (they did claim it as well) and they all had their game expired too
It probably is a problem occurring to everyone not just a couple of people

It semms that it might be a mistake that ubsioft made or they only wannted to give us a free weekend and forgot to tell us about is.

well i mean on their site in ther promotion for the give away they say this.
(Starting today, PC players can download the Standard Edition of For Honor for free on Uplay to keep in their game librar) so im gonna asume it wasnt supposed to be a weekend

(I mean the expireing problem not that they assumed it to be a free weekend wich is not the case)

At least in my libarary it's become DOWNLOAD now, which was EXPIRED.
