Been running a couple of raids, about 30 clears or so .
The one thing we noticed as a group when trying to speedrun is that the timer isn't consistent, differs everytime we run.
is it because some of us have SSD drives and some having standard disc.
The issue is that the same person times it with an app on the phone just as he arrives at the shore more or less everytime we try to run for a better time and the in game raid time completion is between 30-60 seconds behind for everytime.
Last time we noticed this, we started our on timer when the first person arrived at the beach, ran through in just above 29 minuteswhen the loot on razorback dropped on the ground but ingame completion time was about 30mins and 20secs. which is listed as out best time .
seems like the timer won't reset when we reset the raid just before starting.
Anyone else that experienced this?
Hello!
I don't have an answer for you just yet as to why that may be, however we can look into it for you.
Do you have any suspicious where this extra minute may be coming from?
Do you have a recording of you starting the RAID and the end time being different to what you expected? A video is the best way for us to review an issue and check if with the dev team.
well the one thing we know is that it takes approx 1 minute between the first and the last person arriving on the beach.Due to the different internal harddrives, Some , including myself, run ssd drive and some doesn't.
I got no video since i didn't save the clip those times it happened.
It's weird, since it only happens when we start a new raid, if we go through clearing it and then back to the beach and reset the radi, the timer seems to be more accurate.
And since we run speedruns after clearing it 1 time from now on it will be kind of hard to get people onboard to run for a time first runthrough before getting back to the beach to reset the raid.
