My history of suffering:

I started playing this game on my old rig 2 weeks ago (i5-3570K (4C4T), 8GB DDR3-1600 CL9, RX480, MX500 SSD, DX12) and it crashed frequently to desktop (CTD) without any description of error (every other game runs just fine). The behavior was always the same, like for many of you: playing started quite nice for a few minutes, than occasional freezes began (1-5 seconds) every couple of minutes and was getting worse and worse, after a final freeze the program crashed to desktop without error, but the possibility to send a report (which i always did).
After Upgrade to a GTX 2060 super and the game running fluidly even at 1440p the CTD's still occured. I did try different graphic settings (Ultra, High, custom...). I did even return the 2060 super and changed it to a sapphire 5700 pulse. The CTD's did become noticeably less frequent... but did still occur (after 10 to 20 minutes gameplay).

I did then even build a COMPLETELY NEW RIG: ryzen 7 3700X (8C16T), asus x570 prime-p, 32 GB DDR4-3200 CL16, corsair 510 nvme SSD, 5700 pulse. Literally EVERY part of the PC is new (except the case, Define R4). Fresh Windows 10 without any software except actual drivers, BIOS update, uplay and the game itself. The crashes got a lot less frequent .... BUT THEY STILL OCCUR! I can't express how desperate and frustrated i am. At least the crashes "only" occur now every 1-2 hour of gameplay, but still ... I'd really like to scream...

The behavior of the occasional freezes is still there, but it is way less frequent and sometimes barely noticeable. Even so, occasionally there is a massive freeze and CTD. My friend i am playing with has a i5 6700K, RX480 (same graphics settings).. and it did never occur to him. I really have no more ideas what i could do and sincerly hope you are investigating this and there will be a fix regarding this CTD's. Please help.

Still crashing every mission since the last patch, never happened before the patch and no other games are crashing.

same here,,, game just crashing on desktop after title screen .... yesterday the said no maintance today ???? game was working fine yesterday evening and its just crashing ???? I verified game files and this not helping anyway,....

GAME IS NOT WORKING AGAIN ??? What is going on ?? If you want play little after work you cant beacause this game is crashing on desktop and no error messages ???

Im so glad its not just me this is getting ridiculous sometimes crashes every 5 min and blue screens sometimes 2-3 hours

Playing at 1080p ultra there absolutely no reason the game should be crashing with my rig what in the hell has been up with ubi games the past few years

Just had my best crash yet in that it managed to uninstall my display driver. Bizarre to say the least........

I`am also still crashing in almost every mission.
Freezes for about 5 seconds except the sound then crashes to the desktop.
DX 11

Random crashes between 2 minutes and 5 hours.... really disappointet..

9900K ( testet different cpu settings, no help so far )
gtx1080 ( same )
different grapic settings ( same )
dx11 / dx12 ( same )
start easy anti cheat first and repair D2 ( didnt help )
close all overlays ( didnt help )
different Windows10 settings ( no help )


im tired of this, i cant enjoy the game with the crashes

i read and tried hours of options, nothing helps

Game wont launch. I keep getting anti cheat error. I tried verifying the game files, uninstalling, installing. Same error. pretty frustrating since i spent 100 dollars and cant play. Im not sure what to do. I also updated my video drivers. I kinda think maybe all these windows updates. Any help on what to do would be appreciated,
