Cannot even load the game since the last update. just CTD every time and a report box pops up asking to send a crash report.
All drivers up to date and can play any other games all day with no issues.
well, it's September and this **** is STILL going on, and in fact, if you look on google you will find literally THOUSANDS of reports of this same exact issue and it seems Ubisoft just doesn't give a flying F**K one way or the other, and they won't refund **** either (I paid 79.99+tax in canada for this garbage)
For what it's worth, my issue is the same: MASSIVE stuttering issues, then freeze and the game just locks up on my primary monitor and the only thing I can do is open task manager on the second monitor and kill the process (which shows using 0% cpu after the lock up by the way). If I left task manager on the main monitor, I would literally only be able to restart the entire pc using CTRL+ALT+DELETE because anything on the first monitor is locked until the division 2 process is killed
I don't get error codes, or the option to report a crash, or anything else, just freezes, locks up everything, and has to be killed. AND THIS HAS HAPPENED EVERY SINGLE TIME I HAVE RUN THE GAME, ZERO EXCEPTIONS
Beta was completely fine for me, no lock ups or crashes or stuttering at all, but this "retail" version is absolute garbage and completely unplayable for me
system specs: Ryzen 3 1200, 8GB RipJaws DDR4 RAM, Gigabyte mobo, MSI GTX 1050ti with most recent drivers (Aug 27th, 2019--Control game-ready driver update), 500GB WD Blue SSD
things I have tried: Removing and re-installing the game, verifying game files, installing to a different directory, installing to a different drive, running on secondary monitor, driver update, driver rollback, raising and lowering graphics options (literally tried every single possible combination of graphics settings conceivable), turning ON DX12, turning OFF DX12, launching the game and literally letting my character just sit there for 30 mins to make sure all textures, etc have loaded before moving the character an inch, turning off (or on) game overlays from every program I have that contains one, and every other possible "solution" provided by Reddit, the forums here, and dozens and dozens of other forums where people have had this same exact issue......ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FIXES THE PROBLEM
I want my damn money back Ubisoft, or a ****ing SOLUTION!!!
this is ******** and has been going on for MONTHS for THOUSANDS of your players, and you do noithing? WHAT THE ACTUAL ****?!?!?!
So For my issue of the game just not loading using the Division 2 launcher or just the Division 2 application
If i right click on the EAC Launcher and run as an Admin the game will work fine with no issues for me.
I have the file to run as a admin already and all users with permission. but this was just out of luck i think.
Maybe there is an issue with the EAC program im no computer wizard so i dont know. Just sending out my findings.
Yeah I've just started crashing pretty much randomly every 5 minutes, sometimes i can be playing for about 20 minutes before it crashes, sometimes it'll crash on loading the game. It'll crash to desktop asking me to send a crash report, I get no error code or anything.
