well easy anti cheat is a problem at all. first of, it does not aloow us to :
set the CPU cores to a certain ammount via task manager ..
wont let us change the affinity or a prozess

the next part is , that the programming of the grafik in this game, espacaly the memory usage is a horror show.
for example :
iam running atm a ryzen 3 1300 with a RTX2060 16gb ram and the game is on an nvme drive .... u have no idea how many stutterings, and loading laggs i have....
if i change my grafik card back to a gtx 1050TI i have no problems at all.....i even play with all the same settings. nothing is changing . only the grafik card.
if i play any other games i have no trouble with anything. got in almost every game smooth 78-87 frames...in D2 ia struggling to get to 60 fps at all...
i had the same trouble in ghost recon breakpoint. untill i tryed the vulcan start exe ......all trouble gone...
why a vulcan engine is not possible here in D2 ?
dx12 is not working like it should, dx11 is making trouble.and all ways to fix it . are broken thnx to easy anti cheat.
get ridd of it.there are 100x better anti cheat stuff out there , than this one

Still getting consistent freezes on DX12, DX11 works but performance is absolute garbage

Since the patch just before the WONY update/release the game started getting extremely low frame rate every time the disk is accessed. I've traced it down to Easy Ant Cheat. If I force it to run on a Single Core the game runs fine. But I hate that every time I run the game I have to open Task Manager (as administrator) to change it. Setting the Game to Below Normal and Easy Anti Cheat to Above Normal helps a little but its not good enough. I don't know of a way to force CPU Affinity in the Registry so I just set the Priorities as mentions so I get occasional frame drops and its playable. I really want the game to run perfectly smooth again with any hacks. Please fix Easy Anti Cheat.

My clan and I have just gave up of playing Iron Horse because of several blue creens happening over and over to diffefent players. It was just impossible to play, everybody left very upset, we are used to do the raid everyday and today it was just ridiculous the amount of deltas and blue screens. How Ubisoft wants for us to play and "have fun" if getting on to play turn out to be the most stressfull activity you will jave on your day?

Has there been any answer or fix for this issue? No matter what fix I try to apply I still get a CTD after about 3 to 5min.
I recently tried to play again and noticed that something seems to kick me out of the game and then force closes it, no reports though in Event Viewer as to what happens.

Running this on a 3960x threadripper with a 2080Ti.

It'd be lovely if Ubisoft could have a look into this and see why a certain amount of us keep getting these weird crashes.

I'm not even getting far enough to get a blue screen crash. Game finished updating and gave me a failed to update message, Tried to verify files but the option was unavailable. So I uninstalled and got a failed to uninstall message. However it appears the game was in fact uninstalled. So now I'm trying a reinstall. I guess I'll see what happens before I file a ticket with support.

You can also try to install on a diff. disk - that sometimes helps

Well it failed to install. Tried to uninstall and got an error from windows that the game failed to uninstall correctly. Sent in a ticket, but I'm guessing I'm done with Div 2. I don't even know where to look to manually uninstall stuff.

EDIT: Oh man I didn't realize how old this thread is. lol. Well I manually deleted the game, but had to restart my PC since it kept telling me it couldn't delete the files as they were in use. I suppose i could try a different drive, but not sure how well that would work. I'm using a SSD now and all my games are on it. This just happened today so something got corrupted. I might be able to manually uninstall the files but I'm not even sure where to begin to clean up the registry, etc.. I guess I'll see what kind of response I get from support to my ticket. But in the end I'm going out on a limb and saying I'm done with Div 2.

Had two logging into my toons and completing the SHD project. Both CTD's occured when exiting the project screen. Does not occur everytime.
