The game crashes here most of the time after 1 hour of gameplay.

I didn't have any bsod. The games just closes or stay freeze forever and I have to kill it in task manager.

I also have a kind of crash when I close the game and Uplay sends a report.

I just reinstalled this game to start playing again and now I am getting this issue... I've never had this problem before.
Why is there no clear answer to fix this yet.

Game is auto-updated, Windows 10 1903, i7-9700K, 32gb DDR4-3200, RTX 2080 Ti with 436.02 drivers.

Prior to game update, I ran 1440p, DX12, borderless, on ultra preset with a 140 FPS frame cap, vsync off, reduced latency off. 60hrs of gameplay crash free UNLESS I forgot to remove my very aggressive GPU overclock -- dialing that back resulted in crashless gameplay.

i have exactly same spec as you , but my cpu is 7940k and i use 441.87 drivers.. and dont have any issue whatso ever,, windows fully up to date, aswell.. maybe try those drivers.. i too lock fps etc to 120, although i have vysnc turned on
I dont overclock the gpu, apart from factory overclock setting.. so maybe that your issue..
