Should Aramusha get enhanced lites?
Do you think that would help him out at all with getting to his mix-ups?
I know at high level he'll still have trouble, but if you're cleaver enough you can still get a lite attack in without getting parried every now and then.
Not particularly. As aramusha's deadly feinted lights are reactable unless you can delay them constantly. buffing his infinite combo in anyway likely won't do anything to high tier and just make him even more obnoxious for low tier.
Really to make him less oppressive for mid/low they just need to tone down his damage. And for high tier blade blockade and its moves need to be expanded upon.
I'll agree to that, but he really does need more than just a blade blockade buff.
I can delay those deadly feints consistently so mine get through a lot of the time.
Making his heavy finisher and deadly feints on different timings might be a good idea. So if you dodge on the finisher timing you'll get hit with the lite and dodge on lite timing you'll get hit with the finisher.
He needs a way to access his deadly feints easier, that's why I brought up the enhanced lites.
Could also let him soft feint gb his finishers too. So it's harder to tell when he's gonna hard feint.
Letting him deadly feint/soft feint gb his zone
I fully agree that his damage needs to be toned down if they buff the crap out of him. We don't need another over tuned character on our hands.
I'm not sure what good an enhanced lite finisher would do. It's a finisher so having it be the end of his chain wouldn't do much good. Unless I'm totally confused by what you mean.Originally Posted by Goat_of_Vermund Go to original post
It would work exactly like the current heavy finisher, but on light input. So, basically you could finish tempest with a light from top after a top attack, or with a light from any side of a side attack. This light would be 500ms and enchanced, dealing 20 damage. I think this would help him greatly You could implement it either by adding it as a concrete light finisher mechanic in tempest, or creating two more separe chain: a heavy-light and a light-light, with the finisher having this property (the former is more simple, but the latter is not unheard, berserker works like this).Originally Posted by Baggin_ Go to original post
Of course, I would only give him this if we would take at least some damage, and he shouldn't get a top heavy after a heavy parry.
