What is the best way to capture gameplay?

I had some great black prior duels today, and I am a bit dissapointed I can't show them. I want to capture some of my games, but I am unsure what is the best way. I have a few questions for people with experience:

    1. What is the system requirement it takes to run a capturing program? My laptop has the minimal system requirement, maybe a bit bad on the virtual memory part, but I plan to upgrade it with 2-8gb additional RAM. Now, the game runs just fine, though the graphics are not the finest?

    2. What program would you get for it? My w10 keeps offering me something, I don't know if it's enough.

    3. What is the best way to edit it? (I plan to edit out everything that would give me a bad name, like when I activate my autobulwark :P )

I don't plan to do a face cam, nor do I plan to stream.

New youtube FH channel coming soon ?

I've discuss with RobinV recently and he told me he is recording his gameplay via an Elgato HD60 but i think it is more ps4 oriented. Not sure if there is a PC version.

About system requirement i think you're good if you have enough RAM.

Cant help much for the program part but thats an interesting topic for me to so i'll keep my eyes on that !

If you have an Nvidia graphics card you can use Nvidia's in-built Shadowplay software to record footage from your games. Otherwise you can use a free software called OBS (Open Broadcaster Software). It's a lot more finnicky than Shadowplay and you have to tinker with it to get it working correctly but it's your best option if you don't have an Nvidia GPU.

I would say OBS is best for recording. Indeed, you need to set it up manually for the best results but the quality is good. You can even stream with it, tho it's a lot more difficult than using Streamlabs OBS

Nvidia Shadowplay is way more than you'll ever need for regular gameplay capture. Very easy to use, very easy to set up.

There's no best way to edit it, lots of free programs out there that will probably give you more than you're looking for. Try Avidemux.
