[PC]Starter Edition on Steam, Standard Edition on Uplay? | Forums

I have the Starter Edition on Steam and just picked up the Standard Edition for free with the giveaway today on Uplay. Currently, my Uplay library shows two copies of For Honor, making it difficult to know which one is the Standard, and which is the Starter.

I would like to be able to install and open the game from my Steam account and have it point to the right one - is it possible to merge the copies? is it possible for my Steam version to be linked to the better edition?

If not, how do I tell which copy is the Starter and which is the Standard?

Hey,

This interaction is a bit difficult to sort out. You will need the Steam version of the starter edition on the account to launch the game. But as you mention the only way to play the better version is to launch it from Uplay PC. There is no way to merge the games as they are considered different unfortunately.

Okay for this I can't help you locate the correct edition in Uplay PC, but once you do, you can hide the edition you don't want to use.
