Fighting Tiandi is making me very mad...how do I win? :(

    Hi Community.

I’m new at the forums and thought this would be good for receiving advice. I have been using For Honor about a year or so and love the game a lot.
I play using the console. My favorites to use as player is Warden but I also like some others with him.

So today I was in a fight against Tiandis. I remember maybe near four or maybe near five duels with different Tiandis.

    HOLY GOD.

    HOW DO I BEAT TIANDI?!?!?!?!

Everytime I try to dodge his dodge light attacks, he never miss. I do not see any undodgable property indicator anywhere like I see with players like Black Prior when he use a undodgable side heavy. I am simply unable to dodge his light attacks.....which he looks to be using after a kick feint and dodge heavy feint.

Blocking dodge lights is easy at neutral until he use them after the feints above, especially the kick!!!!! So everybody say I should just take the kick. But I feel the kick is putting VERY high pressure on me. If I dodge the kick, the dodge lights will be sure to hit me. If I don’t dodge, I might be killed of the environment. If the environment doesn’t kill me, I will be brought closer to a wall, allowing Tiandi to guarantee damage from the kick because I will fall down so closely (if I wasn’t close to a wall already). Maybe I should wait to block the dodge lights. Welp. He can feint and palm strike me for light. Kick is VERY ANNOYING and I have no idea how to react.

He seems to have too much. Hyper armor on top dodge heavy catch me off guard of many times. Light > Bash > Light like BP. Quick zone, which I can’t possibly react to when he feints a side dodge heavy then quickly does zone or feints a dodge heavy top then quickly does zone.

And his light parry punish really throw me off guard, I did not expect that damage off top heavy.

I try to light during his side dodge heavy like my friend has told me. But then it turns out he can SUPERIOR BLOCK AS WELL as he reads my light, knowing that I want to interupt his long side dodge heavy. Like, this happen to me SO MANY TIMES. Tiandis know their side dodge heavy can be interrupted and use it as bait. I always get baited

    Then they spam thanks.
    I don’t know what to do.....advice?

Stop attacking. I am sure you are being much to aggressive. The danger lies in spacing. If you are too close then the palm strike and lights become a threat but they can be reacted to.

Try to force a dodge light with a feint or early dodge and parrying the dodge light should be easy. If he is going for dodge and kick mix-ups, light attacks/bashes/guardbreaks should be enough to interrupt him. It will take time and practice but the key is to attack inbetween his attacks.

Tiandis need to finish the fight quickly and take advantage of every opening, use of feints and/or hyper armor attacks will be successful against them. If you see them doing the dodge heavy, just guardbreak, its usually feinted and even when not it doesn't work all the time so they can be grabbed out of it usually.

    Good luck.

His dodge lites are undodgable, at that point it really might be better to take the kick. Just be aware of your surroundings so you can ensure there isn't an environmental hazard behind you. He doesn't get anything off of the kick unless you're too close to the wall. Just try to keep his back to the wall if you can.

He's gb vulnerable during his dodge heavy start up so keep that in mind.

After his netural bash he either throws a top lite (which can be an easy parry if you anticipate it) or a top heavy.

While in a netural state it's best to keep your guard to the left (I believe) to stay safe from his zone.
