    Warlord testing grounds ideas

These changes will make warlord much more viable in both team fights and 1v1

Warlords shield bash after a parry will now wall splats and is a chain starter.

Unblockable top Heavy end of the chain finishers

Warlord lacks the pressure of an unblockable heavy while a large majority of the cast do have a ub heavy attack like the other heavy heroes

Full block stance, reduce/remove stamina drain while in full block and make block and stab unblockable. Board and blade can be done in any direction top, left or right by moving the left analog stick. Finally bring back the old full block headbutt where you can headbutt without having to block an attack first and this acts like a chain starter.

The full block stance is high risk low reward the only guaranteed move from full block is the head butt into light and that cost about 56 stamina warlord only has 120 stamina so almost half for 15 damage so reducing the stamina cost and adding more to it can make the move a lot more viable. Make Board and blade multi directional and the old full block headbutt work like a 50/50 because right now there is no reason to doge when a warlord enters full block.

these changes can be tweaked while in testing grounds and maybe even improved.

I posted a longer solution on the tag "how to fix warlord".

I like your ideas about having alternative directions for the "board and blade" counter, that would certainly keep enemies on edge. Also, an unblockable heavy would be a DREAM. That would be so useful to bait parries.

What I mainly think would be better for warlord is A) Decreased stamina drain for his zone attack B) The option to use an unguaranteed, undodgeable, feintable heavy off of a parry or a parry into shield bash (to allow warlord to have more options off of a parry, like he should) C) Some sort of "follow up" attack after the Warlord performs a counter guardbreak, so make guardbreaking him all the more risky. Something small to do minimal stamina/health damage and mainly start new chains. Think about it, NO hero has a cgb follow up; that would make warlord SO much more unique and fun to play. D) Like Berserker and Lawbringer, warlord should have a new animation for his guaranteed light attack of of a heavy, to make it smoother and look better, to fit the "counter-attacker, harasser" motif.

With these changes, I believe that Warlord will feel a lot smoother to play, fit his character archetype more, and most importantly, be able to keep the pressure on in combat through his nature as a counter-attacker.

Out of all the changes I listed, I have to say, as a warlord main, the one I would want the most is the heavy attack parry counter. All I can do off of a parry is shield bash into poke or drain 90% of my stamina with an unguaranteed zone.
