Big Gay Al vs Zen Cartman - Targetting Bug | Forums

Just played a game where the following happened:

1) I played Big Gay Al.
2) He played Zen Cartman
3) Al started attacking NK.
4) Zen played special ability.
5) Al started attacking Zen instead.
6) Ability expired but Al kept attacking Zen until he died like 10 seconds later.

Which cost me the game. Its getting tiresome to report bugs in this game when nothing ever seems to get fixed.

Hey there!

Nothing to worry about here. Once a card begins to attack another card, they won't switch targets until their first has been defeated. Zen Cartman's draw power attracts people to him until he either wins or loses, they won't switch away from him once it fades.

Thanks, so its a permanent focus steal. My bad. Guess I never thought about it since its usually normal units that get sucked in.

I assumed a headhunter would not be permanently distracted since they normally dont even target regular units.

I use Marvin and that doesn't happen. He can go from attacking new kid to zen Cartman and then back to new kid. So, one of these is not working correctly. I've done this tons of times, he never stays to finish Cartman.

I've also seen Dougies and Mimsy return to attacking NK after Zen's power stops. I used to have Zen in my deck, and he never held the aggro from headhunters once his power stopped. Big Gay Al included.

Yeah, well, thats how I remembered it as well, but Toller's claim it was working as indended made me doubt my memory... :P
