Here's the clip, there's two divided in this one segment:

The first clip of wardens indicator for his ub too heavy fully disappears mid swing, this is just a sample of what I see in dominion, it's kind of ridiculous considering I was locked on to him at the time too. I typically see much worse examples in 4v4 especially during big fights or outnumbered fights, but I got this recently so.
The second clip I'm shinobi and try to ranged gb punish conqueror after his dashing sb whiffs, and it goes right through him, and he gets a gb on me. Why give him immunity frames here? People should be punished for whiffing sb's. No character should be allowed to go unpunished for a mistake they make. Especially when characters with unique mechanics (like a hidden stance, shaman bite, etc) or characters without sb's, get punished so easily on whiff. Why would some sb's be punishable, and some not? Why give conq, immunity frames here?
There is a punish. It's called dodge GB.Originally Posted by iadvisoryi Go to original post
Let me play the world's smallest violin that Shinobi, a class that does way more damage than it deserves to do, can't get a sickle rain punish vs a 13 damage move.
Lol I dash-faked into gb, the dash dodged the bash, and tried to punish with ranged gb, and it goes right through him. I was only playing shinobi for fun, best believe I dropped him instantly after lol. If you side dodge gb and it punishes, that doesn't excuse the fact that he has immunity frames where the clip is taken. I dodged the bash, and he walked through my gb. End of story.Originally Posted by ArchDukeInstinct Go to original post
The only thing in these clips that needs to be justified/excused is the fact that ranged GB exists in the game at all. I'm not going to shed any tears that this gimmick move gets shafted in this scenario.Originally Posted by iadvisoryi Go to original post
The indicator clip unfortunately is intended. The game will attempt to show you indicators of moves most important to you.
If another attack is deemed threatening the game will sometimes remove other indicators to make it less confusing for you.
In that clip you had the indicator flicker from both your sides. So the game decided to remove the warden's indicator so you could try to deal with the more immediate threat.
There is an explanation marker above your head though. Which is UBI's way of warning you about an unblockable of some kind. But because this will pop up on your head regardless of lock on distance it's not the most helpful.
Thankfully they've acknowledged the poor indicator system and are supposed to be working on it. As for the second clip that's a well documented intereaction that is a bug as far as I know.
I figured that it was a priority thing and in theory it works but in group situations I'd say ubs should be a higher priority than the next incoming attack. Especially since I was targeting him, and was getting hit from both sides, mind as well give me the top indicator haha. I'm glad they're looking at this though. Hopefully a better system can be in place in the near future.Originally Posted by Knight_Raime Go to original post
Thx for the info
What if they made the external indicators smaller than the locked on ones?Originally Posted by Knight_Raime Go to original post
Might be less confusing and still let you know when you're about to get hit. Also which side they're on if they're directly behind you.
