Is it worth it to buy ?

Hi all , i did alot of research about this game and i am liking everything i see . The community seems pretty friendly aswell . Only thing that is holding me back are the prices.

So if i would buy now (Golden Edition) , i would pay 50% less , so around 50euros instead of 100euros. But what about those Season passes ? i dont understand ''Season pass'' thing . Also does this game have any ingame Store ? Skins ? Is there any p2w concept ?

Is it too late to start playing this game ?

Friendly regards and thanks in advance. (sorry for my grammer)

You can also apply to Uplay+ now and get Uplay+ one month for free.

Uplay+ goes live begin September and then you can play all the Uplay games for free with all extra`s.

So if you dont mind to wait you can try it then for free.

ps. This game has an in-game store but its all cosmetic only, no P2W

As far as I understand, if you don't have the Year One pass, you don't get access to a few short mini-missions -- everything else you just have to wait a week to get access to. I wouldn't say the Year One pass is worth it, to be honest.

There is an ingame store where you can buy cosmetic items -- outfits and emotes. You can also earn most of these just through playing the game, although it is random and takes a long time.

I'm not aware of any pay-to-win stuff.

From what I've heard the PvP in the Division 2 is a little thin -- not a lot of players (I'm not into PvP so I may be totally wrong here). But if you're interested in a good PvE co-op game or in playing solo, there is a lot to like.

No need to apologize for your grammar.

One thing i can tell you for sure is you will deffo get your moneys worth, i have racked up 624 hours of gameplay, not many games out there that can do that and i only play at night.

Also with Season pass you get

    - 7 days Early Access to all Episodes from year 1 (3 total and 1 is out now), so you can play those a week earlier then non-season pass holders.
    - immidiate access to all Specializations instead that you need to unlock it through 5 stages of objectives (3 total and 1 is out now).
    - Additional Bounties, Project and Daily Missions
    - some Extra Cometic items
    - Extra Caches (Cosmetic boxes) on every Apparel event
    - 8 Classified Assignments - 4 are out now and they give extra story behind the events leading to your arrival in D.C. and gives 1 backpack trophy for each assignment (need to find it ofcourse inside those missions first)

But everything in the game can be played without a Seaon Pass (besides the Classified Assignments, those are for Seaon pass holders only)

But if you want to buy the game+seaon pass i suggest to buy the Ultimate edition, its just $11,50 more then the gold edition now ($58,50 vs $70)

One thing to bear in mind about the season pass is that although there are 2 new main missions in the first update which are good they only unlock when you are at world tier 5 i.e at end game which could take you a while to get to all depending on how much time you can put in. This could potentially mean you missing out on content you are paying for which you could have got for free. Personally I still would get the gold edition (I did and was also late to start playing so couldn't benefit from the 2 missions straight away). Either way you will really enjoy this game.

    Key points

    The Good
    • Gameplay is fun
    • Plenty of content
    • Secrets to find in missions and the openworld
    • The game has potential to be better
    • The environments are very pretty
    • It's fun to play with friends

    The Bad
    • Season pass is not worth the price!
    • The story is mostly absent
    • Endgame is pretty boring i.e.repetitive missions, boring loot, etc
    • There is a huge RNG/loot issue right now.
    • Latest patch TU5 was underwhelming
    • No p2w but the micro-transactions are pretty heavy, especially with the ingame "events" being vanity/clothing events.
    • The DZ isn't fun right now.
    • Plenty of bugs

Overall, It maybe worth the full price with a few more patches, but for now I'd say it is worth buying but not at full price and definitely not with the season pass.

If u get the GoldE.for 50€ just take it. As people said, early acess and the 8Classified missions are not worth the 39€. I bought the pass as well on discount, and personally i lke the Classified missions.

If u on PS4 and need some help, hit me up. GL out there Agent

The Gold Edition is worth it (to me) because you get access to all of the specializations as soon as you clear the story missions and hit level 30. Definitely helpful if you're catching up.. plus you're getting specialization points as you grind.
